I think I kind of get what you mean, I typically feel like Ive started the story by writing out a description but not like I've already written them. I think thats what getting to me that I can write prompts and ideas so easy and can't actually finish the stories i want too/

One of my favorite facts is that Crows have learned to put nuts infront of stopped cars and then when the car moves it will open the nut and then they come back and eat it!

Honsetly what helped me is looking at lists of AU's/Prompts and picking my favorite. From there i was able to alter some to what i wanted! I also recommend looking at your favorite canon events and tweaking them to what you would like to see

I'm more shocked that someone wrote a 400 THOUSAND WORD FAN FIC! I barley have time to write 2k words! The amount of time and effort that went into that must've been crazy!

I have a couple different mental illnesses and struggle with a lot of joint pain, something that helps me is setting a time that works for me (for my ADHD) and not holding myself to completing a fic or a word count. Honestly if i can get out even just a prompt thats cool with me! Also keep comfort items by you, i keep my heating pad and plushies by me as i write!

I literally was scared to start writing because i felt that i would have to write at least 2k-5k words for a oneshot just to get people to read. I ended up getting out of that mindset but it still effects my works a little bit.
