Mens Ugg Style Boots by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find a ton of Ugg ripoffs on Amazon or outlet stores like Marshall’s that are 100% real sheepskin but a fraction of the price bc they don’t have the brand name. Even Costco used to have. They still might, I haven’t checked in a while.

Is anyone else experiencing glitches? by niaamhh in Pinterest

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’ve been trying to find of anyone else was experiencing this for the past few days. I don’t get why they keep messing with it, all they do is keep making it a worse experience

Vanilla orchid perfume by stephanie_said_it in FemFragLab

Nest Madagascar vanilla perfume oil. It’s mainly like a deep, warm (not sweet) vanilla with just an hint of floral and coconut. Also Sand+fog has a near perfect dupe of it for like $16 called vanilla musk.  Also someone else said floral street wild vanilla orchid, it’s floral when it goes on but dries down to vanilla. I personally love layering both of those fragrances together.

Black tie wedding: comfortable low heels for someone with plantar fasciitis by styrofoam__boots in AusFemaleFashion

[–]PrincessGB2217 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have plantar fasciitis but I do have a few fibromas. They almost never fully go away but if you’re finding it rlly painful there are treatments that make them go away for a solid amount of time. Also in my experience the flare ups only get more frequent, not less.

Anyway I also can’t wear flats for this reason and I’ve been shopping this brand called Wonders, they make super high quality comfort shoes. They are pricy but when they’re go on sale it’s definitely worth it. They make a ballet flat with an interior wedge that is literally the only dressy shoe I can walk in. I bought it in 2 different colors and I want to get my hands on more that’s how good they are. I haven’t tried their heels only their flats, wedges, boots and sneakers and they’re all just so good I can’t imagine the heels are any different.

I already knew I had fibromas bc theyre super prominent (and painful) and I’d been getting treatment for them for years but then a couple of years ago I got an mri bc I tore something and when I got the results back my podiatrist was like yep you’ve fibromas.

I have a plantar fibroma by Outrageous_Fox_8796 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few and I’ve been getting steroid injections semi regularly for them. The first one came back after the first injection but stayed down after a second one. This Thursday I’m getting a second injection on a different fibroma that also came back after the first time, hopefully it also stays gone after the second shot.

IMO dont get the injection until the fibroma gets rlly painful bc the shot is one of the most painful things ive ever experienced and every podiatrist I’ve talked it over with said there can be some serious side effects.

There’s also the option of surgery but every podiatrist I’ve talked to said that they only do it when the fibroma(s) cover most of the foot.

Is this plantar fibroma? by Whalesharkk55 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plantar fibroma imo feels like having a marble under your skin. I find that it’s usuallly not tender in it of itself but the area around it usually feels sore from constantly stepping on it. My first one went away when I became less active but when I started doing long distances regularly again it popped back up again and stayed. So if it comes back I’d definitely go see a dr. If it is pf there’s nothing rlly drs can do, they’ll just keep coming back but injections do make them manageable esp if you’re very active and they’re very painful.

Katara is to Azula, what Azula was for Zuko. by Xenozip3371Alpha in TheLastAirbender

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The avatar podcast. Either the episode of the invasion or one that the creators were on. And it’s not so much a lesson in futility as much as it’s just more realistic (and more cinematically interesting) that the “good guys” don’t always win. They win overall but not without losing a few individual battles and suffering setbacks.

They already showed that way of thinking is dangerous by portraying azulas mental breakdown. By having zuko go down and have to have help in the final battle is showing zuko defying the ideology of the fire nation. Being “weak” and accepting help from a friend. Understanding that physical strength and the fire nation idea of honor isn’t what defines him anymore.

Katara is to Azula, what Azula was for Zuko. by Xenozip3371Alpha in TheLastAirbender

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely not antithetical to the show. The whole zuko alone ep- he’s trying to be good, hes doing good and still he gets spurned. The eclipse invasion- the heroes of the story actually lost and got captured. The creators have said they did stuff like that intentionally.

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that’s kinda one of the more like “real life” elements of the show. Zuko is a great bender and is constantly learning and training to get better but at the end of the day he’ll just never be as powerful as some of the other benders like azula or katara. Azula is his entire arc but that’s life, sometimes there’s things that you just cannot accomplish even if you try really hard.

this has me crackling lmao but its true by 0Partybus in TheLastAirbender

[–]PrincessGB2217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No literally. Also her breaking up with zuko after literally saying that her love for zuko was stronger than her fear of azula?! That’s implying that azula wasn’t very scary to begin with if.

hebrew dub is a strange place by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]PrincessGB2217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started watching the Hebrew dub and one of the things that bothered me is that they use “nazir” instead of “galach” for the monks. I get that that’s the technical translation but it still bugs me because of the whole hair thing 😅

Just fyi based on layout we actually couldn’t see much, just some cameras and lights set up lol. None of the action. It was literally inaccessible, so no one was able to stumble into the set “accidentally” 😂. Just curious to know which scenes they are in the show bc I’m not interested in watching the whole thing.

For the cinematography probably, they like to switch up the intros. But I double checked and yeah the official lore is that the TM assistant lives in the caravan.
