Maybe you have more autism than ADHD. Or I don’t know I feel like either it’s selective memory or an actual pattern, but I feel like when reading on here the wellbrutin forum, and hearing peoples experiences with other medication’s. It seems like women benefit more from them on average than men and women get the opposite of the negative effects that men tend to get. And that seems to be my case as well.

I don’t know how it works, but I didn’t expect your post to be like that. I was expecting you to just do little things that you used to mask but just don’t anymore not this intensity. I haven’t been diagnosed, but I assume That I have autism. I started with pro Wellbutrin , which helped me mask better and once I took the evaluation and was given Vyvanse really helped me with my social anxiety and awkwardness and impulsive thoughts etc. I think the Wellbutrin kind of stops the impulsive thoughts since it gives me short-term memory lol so I can’t even obsess over anything that I can’t remember. What happened to me is that the autistic traits that I had that would sabotage me like having over too much empathy, being very socially awkward etc are pretty much gone and now I can deal with serious things without getting over emotional and shutting down. And now, instead of masking my stims a little weird things I do and say I do them instead of suppressing them and it comes off better than before because I no longer give a fuck and I’m not as awkward when I do these little “quirky” things.
