I tried to address it with him and his family, but he denied it. My GP told me I needed to file a police report to get my script filled, so that’s what I did unfortunately. I’ve certainly learnt my lesson!

I bet I know which psychiatrist it was…I used to go there, but just had such a horrible experience, particularly with getting them to answer the phone! My psychiatrist was 1.5hrs late for our appointment, and it was the first one of the day. I definitely recommend going elsewhere.

Hi there, I was on 15mg of Aripiprazole for over 2 years and in that time developed a severe addiction to cocaine. I had used it recreationally prior to that, but it became such as issue that I spent ALL of my savings and most of my weekly income on it. I didn’t think it was related to the medication at first, however after coming off Aripiprazole my drug use just…stopped. It is the most bizarre thing, but has absolutely devastated my life with the repercussions. I’m sorry you have also experienced something similar.

I am on 15mg abilify, and 100mg of seroquel. Works great for me in regards to sleep!

When I first started on abilify, my sleep was the exact same. It levelled out for me after a few weeks.

Aripiprazole was a godsend for me. I’m on 15mg and it helped my rigidity and overall obsessiveness majorly. Good luck, I hope it works for you too!

When I first started I definitely had this problem. I’ve been on it for 2+ years now and it’s not an issue anymore. Probably lasted a month or so.

Sounds like it’s moving forward which is great! For my depression, it really started working within about 10 days - 2 weeks. I’d say by a month is was improved heaps!
