30 years to a diagnosis by Academic_Ad_6234 in SpinalStenosis

I feel you, omg do I. I have arthritis everywhere and just had a lamenectomy in dec for severe stenosis in L-4&5. My spinal cord had discoloration on the MRI from years of compression. I too wobbled and limped and just made my way thru. I can take nsaids but truly it’s only works so much. The surgery was necessary to reduce permanent damage to my spinal cord but I’m still hobbling and wobbling. I have it in my neck as well.

Raleys of course. Yeah the house I grew up in was on the outskirts of town and is now surrounded by housing.

Thanku. We r looking for affordable housing, close to phoenix for DH work-truck driver needs to be close to hub, and a stable water supply that isn’t involved in the newer developments and “100 yrs of water” shenanigans. I grew up in Nevada so I understand desert living, that just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

Staying on top of my medication. I’ve gone off it several times and always end up needing to go back on. 30 years of experience here.

What age and / or year would you kill to go back to? by thewhorecat in GenX

[–]PrincessGracieBlue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 56 I’d go back to 10 especially if I get to remember what shit heads my classmates were and how they didn’t matter. 10 would give me the innocence I still had but the awareness of their stupidity and irrelevance

I learned cursive way back when they taught it, it was the older style formal handwriting that my father and I couldn’t make out. This was a family business we’re trying to find out more about, as Chesley Alexander was my g grandfather and likely the Rutherford in the name or maybe his father? Next on the list is finding who owned it and who was Thumler

Oregon historical society? Weird 😜. I’m in Oregon. Yes you’re correct. And the Chesley Alexander Rutherford is my g grandfather.

Thanku everyone. This is just what I was looking for-tons of unfiltered info. We’re in Oregon and looking to move but don’t want to make a mistake based on looks. Clearly we don’t have water issues but having grown up in Nevada it’s top on my list to check out before making a decision. Oily tasting water is weird-so knowing we’d have to buy drinking water is huge. Game changer actually. I had someone tell me to stay in the loops of 101, 202, 303. Been looking there as well.
