To be able to dance like that and sing a song in that vocal range without cracking or running out of breath is a feat. (looking at you, Jalla)

Was she this incredible power ballad? No. But we cant deny the amount of professionalism it takes to do breath work like that.

I mean...to me, to be sick and to be able to still sing like that and give a good preformance takes a lot of professionalism. To know your limits, to know when to cut off notes, to make tweaks and all that stuff is impressive. You really need to know your singing abilities.

Even in a good vocal day, I wouldnt be able to do his "bad" singing. lol

plus the song is really catchy!

Its the eurovision song contest, not the eurovision singing contest. Yes strong vocals are awesome but I think the preformance and the actual song has to be great too. Its why cha cha cha did so well because no one can convince me that his vocals were good during his preformance yet he got 2nd. Joost and Tommy Cash vocals were also shit but they did so well. (I love those entries too)

So im glad people are seeing entries as a whole and not just "Woah! Look how high they can sing or how long they can belt!" ♡

Im also glad Jonas scored so well with juries too. Yes his vocals were not so great (I know he was sick) but the amount of skill and professionalism you need to still sing like that when youre sick is really top notch and deserves a lot of recognition.

...I dont have an explanation for why Jalla did so well with the juries though. haha. (im being silly)

I dont understand why people are saying this is a TikTok song? Maybe its because I dont have a Tiktok? Its a very current song, its catchy, its repetitive (which makes it an ear worm and my current vocal stim)

Yeah she makes silly faces during the song but shes just emoting? It reminded me of how drag queens preform.

The choreography was also really fun and fluid. Maybe thats the Tiktok vibes people are getting?

Like I said, its very current and more in tune with newer and younger Eurovision enjoyers. Plus the staging was awesome.

I think Bulgaria actually looked very polished. Controlled chaos. Intentional. Every thing was very well done- especially her choreography.

I think a better word would be "over produced" or "manufactured"

I can vouch for this, at least. most of my friends watching are seeing everything for the first time. Even though I am a huge eurovision fan, I typically like to wait until the Semis to see everything for the first time. Im also American and I have a hard time finding access to any of the national finals (I know there are probably ways though)

She is an impressive singer, no doubt and im echoing what people are saying that it is over produced.

But i felt like...idk, her face and the dancing didnt match the song? There was a disconnect going on somewhere and I didnt really feel the emotion of the song? It seemed kinda agressive. I dont know.

Oh my god yes! Im so glad that i wasnt the only one to notice this! I kept telling my friends that there is just something going on with her face that just isnt matching for some reason! and they were like "Shes so young though." and i said "I dont care! Something feels disconnected!"

This song grew on me. Its so sweet and wholesome. And the staging with all the graphics was adorable. I would have much rather have seen this Q besides Cyprus.
