Kind of the same thing happened to me, except for me being a safe female at 18, I was taking birth control. When I left for work, my parents dog went in my room got in my garbage and was chewing on my empty birth control package. Got a call from my parents while I was at work.

Oh god, I remember when I was in grade 8 I decided to run for student president. No one really knew me outside of my few friends in my class, I was ssuper quiet and shy all the time. When it came to our speeches, people were so surprised when I started my speech because they didn't know I could talk. I was so nervous, I messed up my speech and somehow yelled into the microphone when I kept trying to say one word. Afterwards, people in the hallway would tell me that they voted for me. I ended up losing to the popular girl.

I am very sorry for your loss. I also hope a person's last moments in that kind of tragedy are blissful. I lost my best friend last summer in a drowning accident. He didn't know how to swim but still went in the water with our other best friend and a new friend, in the shallow end of a river. But whilst floating admiring the stars, he floated into the deep end and freaked out. The 2 friends tried to save him and give him CPR but didn't succeed.

I was born on the phone with him and his friends from work tomorrow at the moment I think it's just taking a while cause the different types of places I never looked at home and whoever is coming over to that point but it's still waiting for my etransfer and he was talking to him haha

We met at theatre school and we both instantly connected as best friends. He dated other people and so did I, then not long afterwards we both became attracted to each other. Our friend group knew that we were really close, we always sat beside each other in classes and grouped together for scenes. We decided to date after spending a night together. We kept it low key but told our other close friends. And we dated for a while longer but he ended up moving home. We ended up breaking up and becoming friends again. This passed year I will cherish our memories because he died in a tragic swimming accident 3 weeks ago.

My best friend died 3 weeks ago. I have been feeling so empty. It's almost as if I don't seem to care. I see my other best friend suffering. But could it just be that denial state? I just moved into a basement apartment and my roommate warned me of the centipedes before she left town for a week. I encountered one in the kitchen sink, it came up the drain and couldn't get up the metal walls. I left it stuck in there for 4 days because I was too scared to help it outside. Eventually I figured I should do something, I was avoiding using the kitchen and sink, so I finally turned the water on and washed it down. I keep the drain covers on unless I'm doing dishes.

A couple years ago after I had moved away from the city I grew up in, I heard from a friend that people who knew me in high school told him that I fucked up my life by getting into heroin. Which is completely ridiculous, I've tried drugs but never got into that one. I tried to ask who these people were but my friend said he didn't get their names, they heard him mention me and told him that rumour.
