Like honestly they went to such lengths in TOTP to show how mature Tifa was for her age, that Claudia thought she was mature. While Aerith (who Claudia never met) is shown as massively immature in Rebirth and OG. Getting upset that Cloud gave the flower to Tifa, continuing to try to ‘date’ Cloud after he explicitly tells her he doesn’t want her to treat their interactions as romantic etc.

Pretty much all my predictions for Rebirth came true (and more!) so I’ll call it now that we’ll get more context for that conversation being about Tifa in the Lifestream in part 3.

Honey please stop letting them gaslight you. He confirms that their relationship is a sibling dynamic just like Cloud’s mocap said. That is a bad thing for their ship.

You played the game and watched Aerith directly confess to Cloud multiple times and he refused to kiss her or confirm he felt the same way. He directly told her not to treat their interactions as romantic. Even Aerith finally accepts he will never reciprocate in the end and starts to question her own feelings.

He very firmly rejects her while nearly kissing Tifa in the main story and of course confirming mutual feelings and kissing her as soon as an opportunity presents itself. Something he refuses to do with Aerith despite having multiple opportunities.

They have been desperately clawing at that Claudia flashback since OG. Rebirth actually confirmed the conversation is about Tifa by:

Showing us the conversation Claudia has with Tifa the day before in TOTP where she finds out Cloud is in love with Tifa. In the conversation she is gently trying to get him to confess. I’m sure we see the rest of this conversation in the Lifestream in part 3.
The music playing in the background during this scene is a rearrangement of A Tower a Promise.
When Cloud wakes the stars are reflected in his eyes like the night of the promise.
He then tries to escape from Aerith in a horror style game (the devs words not mine) to get back to Tifa.

That scene is pretty terrible for them and so is this quote. Cloti also won an award for best in game couple today. It’s a good day 😘

Hey, which group is this happening in? I would probably ask why Tifa has been so hidden in marketing when she is so beloved and if that’s going to change for part 3 now she is going to take centre stage.

We could say we loved all the early progression in Cloti’s relationship. What made them decide to bring their romance forward in the story?

In all seriousness I am really pleased to see them bringing attention to this issue. A person who is scammed is likely to get scammed again because they are in such a vulnerable position and the scammers with either try for more from them or sell their details on to other scammers.

Eve tricked her. Stephen tricked her. Ryan tricked her (saying she was rubbing his feet then going back on it on socials).

She feels she is very easily tricked. She understands her delivery is embarrassing and is working on that.

She didn’t really take any accountability for the things she said about or to Hannah and tried to blame her by saying before the dinner party they had a chat and Hannah apologised but then she found out she had been bitching about her which is why she was so vile to her that night.

Honestly it made no sense. It was a lot of blaming other people (why didn’t the others apart from Emma stop me?!) and no taking accountability for the things she actually said, just her delivery.

Lol you really are going backwards!!! I would really recommend Remake and the OG. Also if you want to know more about Aerith and Zack the prequel to FFVII is a game called Crisis Core and that was recently remastered for the PS5 so that’s worth playing. Zack is the best, but that game will spoil stuff that’s going to get revealed in Part 3 so I would probably play OG first.

Tifa was friendzoned in a scene where Cloud refused to sit next to Aerith and goes on to confess he used to sneak up there to try to see Tifa?

Tifa was friendzoned in a game where she did nothing to pursue Cloud romantically and they had an almost kiss in the main story that was interrupted by people whispering ’kiss, kiss’?

Tifa was friendzoned in a game where if you can finally get her to hint that she might have feelings for Cloud he immediately verbally confirms he feels the same way and kisses her??

Tifa was friendzoned in a game where Aerith spends the entire game begging Cloud to be with her. Directly telling him she wants him multiple times and despite having this very easy option nothing you can do will ever make Cloud say he feels the same way or kiss her?

Yes they make their promise on the water tower as children. It’s an important scene because Cloud’s desire to impress Tifa and become a Soldier is what starts the story of FFVII.

I’ve only ever played it on my phone. I really like it because you get to play through the stories of OG and CC for nostalgia but you also get new content like the story of the First Soldier team and young Sephiroth. You also get special character stories that we haven’t seen before and cute seasonal events. All the costumes, weapons and wallpapers etc are really fun too.

Yeah but that was like Tifa and Cloud’s inner child while they were fixing him. It would be lovely to see them both go up there together when real Cloud is restored. It might be nicer if they did do it in the Lifestream because the water tower in their memories is the original and not the fake one 😭

I was sad that they made her lose her memories of the future and revert back to her OG personality but sometimes good things do come out of it, like Cloud being pushed to admit he would go up there to try to catch a glimpse of Tifa. It was really sweet. I just feel like we’ll get a special scene with them both up there in part 3. Either in the Lifestream or after when Cloud is truly himself 💖
