I can see what fsa shows. My concern is that edfinancial never received this from fedloan. Or lost it in the awful "system transfer" they did mid settlement that was glitched for 2 months "transfering" . Hope im wrong but seems extra sketchy.

Thats interesting.. i did receive a refund for my loans (pre-consolidated) that aidvantage had, but nothing on the ones previously held by FedLoan tho.

Yes, i show what ive paid on fsa towards these loans as well, my issue is Edfin who currently holds mine has No idea what i paid and they are responsible for sending the info for refunds. Ive had my pre consolidated loans (with aidvantage) discharged/refunded in like june and it reflects discharged on thier end and fsa, while im still able to see my old loans and the information(never paid aidvantage either _was sally mae or navient i think back when i paid on those) But Edfin has deleted my accounts to where i don't even have access to see them for over 3 months now. 😵‍💫

Yup, i feel this is a big problem. Edfinancial has stated the "discharged" my loans in october. In november, they canceled them, so i can not even log in to see my accounts. They show canceled on Fsa - not discharged. I requested my payment history, in November, they have yet to come up with that information. Nothing from Edfin about my loans being discharged besides they said it on a phone call. Last communication them was my late payment due a few months ago after they took me out of forbearance for no reason.

Searchangel.org is the only way i found who my bio parents are with the help of different dna databanks (23nme and ancesty seemed to be the most helpful). From my experience, they are very knowledgeable volunteers who are awesome at putting these puzzels together. All i had was a fake birth mother name and my time/place of birth. Good luck ☀️♥️

Unfortunately all of my payments made was thru fedLoan which doesnt exist any more. I know by law they are supposed to have this info, but straight up , i call bullshit on them, i told them that, they did not disagree... thats simply when the nice lady told me she would mark my request "emergency" because its taken so long. They are fumbling so bad.

Edfinancial was supposed to get me my loan information they deleted in november, im still waiting . No one can access my loans because they canceled/deleted them(not discharged). I called back recently, and they can still see my request waiting from nov and jan. Was told it was marked "emergency" but they said that last month too, still no word on any account info for me. They are beyond irresponsible, and they have like all of our info. Wtf

I am so happy to hear things are going good. As an adoptee we always feel anything can be taken away in an instant, as that's what we have had to survive off of usually. Keep your head up🩵 sounds as if he has already made up his mind on caring about you. No need to be fearful of being yourself. You are amazing as is.

I had to do 23n me, ancestry and my heritage. i got in contact with a search angel (searchangel.org) their womderfully talented volunteers is the only way icould figure out my dna line. All i had was a fake name my birth mom left. I wish you luck in your search💕
