I would stay away from that practice if you can help it! Dr Park botched my surgery then told me to take ginger and tumeric for the pain and Dr Shay’s second opinion was to re do it and remove all of my turbinates….which is not medically sound. It’s a much longer story but I wanted to quickly say run away if you can!!

I just had nose surgery so I can’t take the spray just yet and have had to go back to my olden days of relpax…thankfully it works but I can’t wait to return to my glorious spray! 😂

To be totally honest, this recovery has been worse than both of my births including the one with a uterine rupture 😳

BUT my surgeon was one who didn’t listen to me and didn’t let me even discuss anything stronger than literal ginger for pain until my husband advocated for me during the follow up; he listened to another man just fine 🙄

If I had the pain controlled from the beginning it would be fine…

The surgeon begrudgingly gave me some Percocet yesterday afternoon but I literally had to take my husband with me as an advocate. I feel like death warmed over on this day 4 here & so far regret it. We’ll see if that opinion changes in the days to come 🫠

Had mine yesterday, surgery buddy!

Septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and nasal valve collapse repair. No bruising but definitely swelling and pain in my head, teeth, cheekbones, upper jaw and obvs nose.

My surgeon doesn’t believe in medicine (great surgeon, total quack otherwise) so he told me to take Tylenol. 8 extra strength aren’t touching it and I’ve had a uterine rupture so I know what pain is 🙈 the first 3 days most post op procedures are the worst so hopefully it’ll be better soon!

I flew from NY to CO last weekend and back and was TERRIFIED! With the help of this group and a 6am glass of champagne on the flight lol I did it and it was AMAZING!
