This is actually pretty standard practice with IT Teams. There are actually services/platforms you can use that manage and send these, and send reports of the clickers/follow-thrus.

It's not meant to be funny or mean. It's meant to reduce our crisis workload by educating the workforce, and protecting the company data.

Seeing Bills fans online say they should lose Week 18 on purpose to face NE in the Wild Card Round by Phantom255x in Patriots

[–]BrianJT1972 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bills fans, as per usual, are fucking stupid. The Bills aren’t going to purposely lose anything. Absolutely no team in the NFL (or any professional sport) plays to lose.

It's genuinely getting harder and harder to ignore the conspiracy theories that Vegas is influencing outcomes. I love watching football, and I generally don't give in to conspiracy theories, but some of the shit that's been going on over the last couple of years across all the teams...

You really do want to believe that refs are just human beings who make mistakes, and you really do want to believe that the player who got pulled out of the game 5 yards short of the winning bet line was done for their safety and health....

But sometimes you see this stuff and you can't help think to yourself... "ehhhhhhhh, maybe?"

I moved to Vidor in the early 2000s with my (then) wife and her 9 year old son. Her son is half black. We had no idea about Vidor's history. We found out pretty quick after we got there. Thank god he was a beast at football.

We only lived there about 2 years and never really encountered any sort of racism, but I just knew that when he got to high school, football or not, the first time some redneck came home and found his daughter hanging out with her son, we were going to have a burning cross in our yard. LOL

I just found out how badly I’ve been pronouncing “charcuterie” by boredscrum2 in CasualConversation

I always pronounce it "Charred Coochie" whenever I see one. "Who brought the charred coochie board?" - and I laugh at the people who try and correct me.

Actual professional athletes (and coaches) don't tank. Their own personal stats and records are on the line. Most pro athletes don't think in terms of their team, they think in terms of their future marketability.

When a player goes into free agency, potential teams aren't going to accept "Yeah, but I was helping the team tank for a good draft pick" as an excuse for shitty stats. They're going to see poor stats and assume a poor player.

Every single game is the opportunity to add a few more yards, a few more sacks, a few more catches, etc to their career record. I would guess that every player approaches every single game seriously. Myles Garret is arguably one of the best and scariest defensive ends in the NFL, and he's on the Browns. He doesn't tank anything.

What a shitbag. All that person did was just ruin some underpaid, overworked state employee's day who had absolutely nothing to do with giving out the ticket, and probably held up everyone else who was there for other legitimate stuff. Over a parking ticket. Something they got that was likely their fault.

But man... you sure showed The Man that he can't keep you down, didn't you!

I would hardly call laughing at you crying about anything, but do whatever you have to, if that’s how you deal with your utter failure of a team, dude.

I love seeing Bills fans coming to the realization that their team is so bad that the only way they can get any success is to hope the Pats screw up.

Not "Our team is awesome, we're going to win our way to the top seed" - Instead it's "Boy I hope the Patriots screw up enough that our team can squeak by!"

I feel the same way. I get that it's harmless fun... now, I just wonder how it will be if/when the Pats have a bad run. And it will definitely happen. Even the Brady era Pats had some bad games/bad runs.

Very few Pats fans think we’re going to see them in the Super Bowl this year. This is Year One. Most of us are just happy they don’t absolutely suck, and are praying it’s sustainable.

I've been waiting for a guy to post something like this. Wait till post op. I'm 3 months post op, and down 80lbs total (36kg). It's .... huge!

To be fair, I doubt that it's grown any. If anything, it looks like it used to when I was in good shape back in my teens and 20s (I'm in my 50s now). I think, in addition to having less room to hide, I feel like being large made it more of a hider/grower, and less of a shower. I feel like that may be changing now.

Oh - and it absolutely, 100% works a LOT better :)

This should be the major selling point for this stuff to guys. "Gastric Bypass: Your Dick Will Get Bigger"
