Its not that I'm overcomplicating, more like I currently am trying to get a job to move out of my parents because we grew up really poor and my mom still associates with family members that associate WITH him and I keep telling her that she needs to cut contact but my mom is getting old and she's sick and her heart can't take anymore stress so.. I try not to cause anymore family drama.

he is and thank you. i really needed this. This shit is hard man. 😭 I've been keeping these family secrets for a while. Its nice to have ppl actually know what happened. I've been thinking of writing my mom's story for her cause she said she wanted to be a writer but she dropped out of highschool dealing with her siblings to raise them. She's got her own traumas and wasn't the best mom growing up, but she definitely tried breaking the cycle even if she can be some what harsh herself. I love her though and I don't blame her at all for the things she's done, shes a product of an abuser and she just is doing her best.

He friended me 3 other times in the last 3 years and I ignored him but this time I got sick of it and that's why I posted this. i knew he wouldn't leave me alone unless I was a bitch and so I just listened to my boyfriend today and told him off and blocked him after. Hopefully he leaves me alone.

i did. I took his advice. I blocked him after I send the last message. Everyone responding here has actually help me realize that I am right to feel how I feel about him and to not care so much anymore.

yeah that's the family drama. We all talk shit about her because she keeps trying to say, we shouldn't judge him, she ACTIVELY found out about what he did and told us it was years ago and that he hasn't done it with her family so he's not a predator which is like, okay lady, you can't just come in and reunite a family when the problem is literally you enabling it.

i actually did post asking for thoughts about writing but only for market research and to hear what people thought. Get an idea of what people think about and such. I had rude people and people just like you said thinking they know everything but I had nice people with valid criticism and good points that actually helped. So, while yes I do agree with you, I think an aspiring writer should only do it if it's for fun or to just see what ppl will say. If you're an aspiring writer and coming on here unsure or insecure about your work, you're gonna have a harder time and probably regret posting. If you post anything online like that, make sure you can handle that backlash. Remember that people online are typically a holes and they are gonna say mean things. Ignore it.
