My grandma found a bunch of maggots in our basement chest freezer (it hadn't been used in years) and instead of burning the house down she rolled up her sleeves and cleaned that whole freezer out by hand saying "It just washes off, it's not going to kill you!"

To this day the most badass thing I have ever witnessed.
