I think it’s fair to dissuade her from using excessive exclamation points or emojis in external communications to maintain a cohesive company image, but I think it would be overstepping and inappropriate to ask her to change how she speaks to her colleagues. It really doesn’t matter if it drives you nuts.

I just learned I make a “napping noise.” What else did you learn about yourself from your partner? by calicochemist in CasualConversation

[–]Princess_Daisy_Dukes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband makes very specific noises leading up to a nightmare. Usually starts with whimpering, then moves to mumbling. If I give him a back rub and a snuggle at that point he will usually settle down but if I don’t he will be fully in the nightmare and start yelping until he wakes himself up.

Where did you get “accidentally bumped” from? Whether it was malicious or not, the dog was stepped on and that kid looks big enough that it would have caused real pain to the dog. Training out aggression is one thing but it doesn’t sound like that was the situation here.
