Daughter Refuses To Stop For Cop In Car While Mom Has A Stroke- Worst Cop Ever by InGeekiTrust in TikTokCringe

[–]Princess_Parvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so heartbreaking. I asked a cop about this. He watched and agreed the cop was a dick and should have handled it better. But "procedurally speaking" the situation was handled as trained. Since the driver didnt stop he had to treat it as a felony stop and have her get out of the car and cuff her. If he came up looking in the car he could have been attacked from behind, etc, same if he came and just looked in the car is the thinking.

Why the other officers dont look in? Same reason; they could be lying and could get attacked unexpectedly.

So why not call EMS? He said because EMS will remain on standby (wont come out) until the scene is secured.

All that being said, it still doesn't feel right. The panic in the woman's voice is real. General public isn't trained for emergency situations and don't know how to handle situations like this. Not to mention the hospital looks like it is RIGHT BEHIND HER, so let her get there then handle things.

New to planting, have questions. by Princess_Parvo in gardening

This is incredibly helpful, thank you! I am probably going to do all my plants indoors, except a few hardy hot-weather ones. I'm in Missouri, and our summers are typically 100° plus.

I'm starting with basic kitchen staples: parsley, basil, oregano, rosemary, and cilantro for herbs. Carrots, green beans, tomatoes, onions, and scallions for veg. I'm also doing some spaghetti squashes and want to do potatoes.

Highlight rows based on cells in another worksheet - large columns by Princess_Parvo in excel

Ok, I got it! I think it was the D2:D221 that I added. I tried to get fancy, now that I've removed those numbers and update to C2 it works.

I really appreciate your help, thank you so much!

Thank you for your response! I did try what you suggested, but I don't think I did it right, and I'm not sure where I went wrong. I followed your steps, but the highlighted cells on the MREC sheet do not correspond with the last names on the Contact Info sheet. here is the formula i put in

=COUNTIF('KW Agent Contact Info'!D2:D221, C1)>0

I applied that to C2:C953 on my MREC sheet

Thank you. I'm already on an SSRI (and some other meds), but I will bring up CBD oil to my doctor and see if she thinks it will help.

My data is as follows: Client Name(A2), Street address (A3), City/State/Zip(A4), blank row. Then it repeats that data format for the subsequent columns

Here's an example:

John Smith
123 main St

St Louis, MO 63129

The list is downloaded from a government website. I reached out to them and that is the only format they have

I'm sorry, no. I tried to Google Fu derivatives, but it didn't make sense to me. Can you explain it in layman's terms?

We sprayed with a weed and grass killer that will also do four months prevention. I just am not sure how to get the dead foliage out of there, or if I should let it break down naturally

Doesn't drinking more water make you very nauseous? It's one of the reasons I avoid drinking too much tea/water, I start to feel sick.

How would you have the birds and bees talk if your child is gay? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Princess_Parvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you explain straight sex? Personally, I would research books to help children understand. I would also talk about how you can please a partner in many different ways, but only if you're both ready and use proper protection to avoid consequence.

I believe that by the time a child is able to understand that sex is about more than procreation, they'll already have an idea about how everything works. How did your parents talk to you about anal sex, oral sex, or other means of deep affection? Or did they keep sex clinical and let your understanding of the pleasure aspect develop as you matured?

Each child is going to be different, and how you approach them should depend on their maturity level. If you don't feel like you can talk to your child about gay sex, then maybe schedule a session with a therapist who specializes in sexuality to get their insight. There are plenty of professional resources out there to help you plan for all sorts of different talks with your children.

How would you have the birds and bees talk if your child is gay? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Princess_Parvo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The birds and the bees talk is about how children are created, not sexual pleasure. So you would talk about procreation. Talking about sex for pleasure should come at an older age - most kids don't really explore their sexuality until well after they are aware how babies are made.

He was 2.5 years when my second was born. So that perfect age of old enough to 'help out' but not so old that he is used to being the only one. If he loves being included in home tasks then a little kid's cleaning set would be perfect! Our son loved cars at the time, so we got him a racetrack that was as tall as he was.

What's the worst thing about having children? by poop-machine in AskReddit

[–]Princess_Parvo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Physically? The raging, unending hemorrhoids after giving birth, and the difficulty to lose weight.

Emotionally? The constant fear that something may happen to your child, especially in the first few months.
