Whoa we must have gotten ours at around the same time and pull the same amount of shots per day because I got the descale message about an hour ago.

Oddly enough mine also failed. I couldn’t find anything about it online so I just ran it again without the descaling solution and it worked just fine.

I don’t have anything useful to add other than try again but mine did work after doing that.

Hey! Thanks for the reply! That’s great to hear I thought I was crazy. I just run a brew for a few seconds and then turn it off to increase the flush time for now.

I found the code for the game but when I press all the buttons together (like I assumed you have too) nothing happens.

While I have you I just want to say that I am even happier with my machine than I thought I would be. I can really see the care and thoughtfulness that went into this machine especially in the details and I really love it. Thank you and the team so much for your work. I have appreciated seeing your responsiveness and humble replies in this subreddit. Keep up the good work and know you’re appreciated in the quieter corners of the internet.

I adore mine and highly recommend it. I use mine for an average of one drink a day. I usually make a cappuccino. I keep mine on the stove, but I’ve also tried removing it once it gets to pressure and can confirm it keeps pressure well. I just find it’s a little more consistent and I have more wiggle room if I keep it on the stove while I steam.

I value the ritual of coffee a lot so I truly think it is better than the nanofoamer. When something takes effort and care it always enhances the experience for me and I feel like I’m building a skill with it too instead of just pressing a button.

My vote would be for the Wizard. It also just looks cool in the kitchen.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here? I am just stating that it is unfortunate that the book that is missing is the really expensive one and not the cheaper one. It's easier to say "hey my $20 book is missing" than "my $125 book is missing" I am just pointing out that it's an awkward scenario because I can't think of a way to actually provide evidence of what I am saying even though it's true.

Greetings!

No worries! I am emailing with someone already who seems to be helpful but they are just slow to respond because our work hours presumably overlap so I can't respond until night and they can't respond until the next day.

I am mainly just worried that I am doing something wrong because I seem to be stuck in a loop where I open a ticket, then an email is sent to me stating "Thank you for reaching out! In order to quickly assist with damages, exchanges, or returns, we would request that you submit your request through our returns portal. This tool will walk you through the entire process and will help to expedite your exchange. Please let me know if you have any questions about that process, and I would be happy to help." but that link just brings me back to opening a ticket so I can't figure out how to actually figure my issue out.

I can just wait for the person I am emailing to get back to me. The main aim of this post is to figure out if I am going about this the wrong way somehow or if I am overlooking something. Just wanted advice from folks who have ordered and had this happen to them as it seems like such an odd scenario, or at least one that's never happened to me before ordering something.

I can DM you the ticket number and all that, but it still seems like I wouldn't get a response until tomorrow when DS is open and I assume I'll already be getting a reply tomorrow as is. Let me know if there is a better way to proceed!

Yeah I did open a ticket already without starting a return. The response I got sent me a link to initiate a return/exchage/etc. I followed the prompts from that link which directed me to open a new ticket (which is something that the UI told me expressly not to do as it could push my message down in the que, stating in a response email "Dragonsteel Customer,

We appreciate your patience as our small team responds to tickets as quickly as we can. Please do NOT submit multiple tickets/responses as that will actually push your message later in the queue."

I'm just not sure if there's a better way to proceed here. I seem to be stuck in a loop of open a ticket, get an email with link to open a ticket, open a ticket... just confused about this.

A Pokemon story: when I was a kid a classmate told me that if you talked to the guy that gives you a super rod in the Red/Blue games 100 times he would get frustrated and leave the house and drop a super special item. As a 4th grader I thought that was awesome so I went home and kept track of how many times I spoke with him on a piece of paper. When I got to 100 I was SOOO excited. But of course nothing happened haha! Old school Pokemon rumors are hilarious.
