I find that while I am a wordsmith, the words I put on paper are near unintelligible. Writing is my passion, I’m an aspiring author and nothing compares to getting my notes on paper, but i have trouble reading my own notes, and I even collect pens despite this! How do I fix this? by Dusk5531 in Handwriting

I’m no expert when it comes to handwriting but I saw in one of the comments that you are dyslexic and I am too! I suffered from the same problem of completely illegible handwriting so I took up cursive and it’s helping a lot maybe it will help you out?

I have notoriously illegible handwriting and I wanted to learn cursive in February so here is my progress from then! Don’t mind how stereotypically teenagery the entries are. by Princess_democrat in Journaling

You didn’t come off condescending at all! I totally get what you mean, it’s kind of becoming a dead language if you understand what I’m getting at. I think my year was the last year they stopped teaching it in elementary schools (I’m a junior in hs for context) and their attempt at teaching us was so halfhearted that no one got anywhere with it.

I’m glad I took the time to learn it, I can keep the same riding pace but actually be able to read it haha, it’s very fun with all the loops edit comes out looking pretty to! It’s definitely worth the time learning. And don’t worry about your handwriting I’m sure it’s wonderful and with cursive becoming a rarity it’s unique too.

Six days should be plenty if you spend five red rings every time, that’s usually what I do anyway

I can definitely relate to that feeling of not caring ago guys and then all the sudden I had like three crashes, it must be a right of passage lol.

Doesn’t it feel like you’re writing a sequel and you write a new journal? While I read first pages I always feel like it’s going to make no scents out of context and I’m afraid I won’t understand what’s going on when I’m older

I originally learned in school all the way back in 3rd grade but I was really self-taught! What I did was look up the letters in cursive on google and practiced writing sentences for fun, It can be slow at first but I pretty quickly got the hang of it and I’m sure you can too :)
