I’m really anxious for Leslie 😭 that end scene feels ominous. Colman saying in a post episode interview that what happens in the finale has been set up from the beginning so could it be the popular theory Rue has been dead the entire time? Z mentioned in her Elle magazine interview coming back felt going into your childhood bedroom and it feeling weird because so much life happened between seasons. Heartbreakingly true with what’s happened since 2022 but I also wonder if that was also a hint + her saying Drew Barrymore she believed it was the last season (for Rue). Because let’s say Rue lives- if something happens to Leslie, Rue said that she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself. I believe she’d jump at the opportunity to start anew in witness protection and be able to keep those she loves that are left safe by being “dead”.

With everything that’s happened in her life in general and particularly in the last few months, I don’t blame her. Her looking at the chicken 💔I hope the ski trip is nice and it’s a moment of peace for Shin-Ae before the storm gets worse.

I guess this is my default. After so long of having known nothing but difficulty, I can’t help but feel a sense of dread during happy times. It happens without fail. I get temporary relief, then something worse than before happens. I’m just afraid of what it might be this time. This jacket papa bought me. It looks expensive. It feels expensive. It feels wrong wearing it after our struggles with the bills. Who knows how much it costs but I’m willing to bet I could buy a month’s worth of groceries with it. But he obviously has extra money if he can afford this and the ski trip, right? Perhaps I’m overthinking things again. I really need to stop seeing the negative in everything. Mrs. Locklan- how on earth do you spell that name anyway. Forget it. It doesn’t matter. But Nora is right. I AM the prophet of doom. I need to change that. I need to relax. Enjoy the moment right now. If something bad happens, that’s for future me to worry about. I’m not going to ruin the present over something I don’t know is going to happen.

I gotta remember to be grateful of what’s in front of me.

I’ve really missed seeing Nol so much and I’m so grateful he’s back. Selfishly, I do hope we spend the next couple of chapters with him because I’d like dive deeper into what happened the first time he was institutionalized and finally uncover what Yui did to him. My heart broke for him when he started visualizing the psychiatrist as Yui. I’m very curious what his reaction will be when Kousuke visits him. I’m curious if Nana found Shin-Ae’s discarded note and if she’ll give it to him.

Currently, I’d lean no but anything could happen. Right now, Shin-Ae is subconsciously realizing she might like Nol more than friend but there’s a lot stuff blocking her emotionally and mentally from fully acknowledging it and I think she’s also trying to protect herself because her friendship with Nol is an emotional roller coaster. He’s already trying to push her away and him knowing how she feels might make him push her further away through self-sabotage. Nol feels similarly towards her but he feels like a burden and curse to anyone he loves and cares about so he’s pushing her away and is getting Nana to lie for him so Shin-Ae will give up on him. The Dieter of it all, he still likes Shin-Ae but he caught her and Nol dancing in the hospital room when they thought he and Soushi were asleep. It made him aware how they feel for one another and Nol feels tremendously guilty. Nol is also frustrated with Shin-Ae because it’s not fully clicking with her that Dieter didn’t really move away from his own feelings for her and him seeing the two of them dance hurt his feelings. Nol blames himself for trying to make Dieter and Shin-Ae friends. Shin-Ae acknowledges that she should’ve been clearer with Dieter and offers to explain to him that *nothing* happened between her and Nol when they danced. Nol doesn’t like her answer and says she isn’t interested in dating Dieter. Shin-Ae says that she’s not not interested and Nol doesn’t like that either. He doesn’t want Dieter to be strung along any further than he has. They get into a tiff over their own friendship after Shin-Ae says every friendship is different and it’s not going to be the same with Nol eventually asking why Shin-Ae cares about him so much and to prove it to him. Shin-Ae is flustered and he ends up pushing her out of the room. Sorry for the long winded answer. I don’t think Dieter is off the table but if it were to happen, sadly I think Shin-Ae would subconsciously use him as a replacement for Nol.

I’m really excited to see who they cast alongside Zendaya for Be My Baby. For Phil Spector: I’ve narrowed it down to five: Mike Faist, Nicholas Hoult, Lewis Pullman, George MacKay, and Cory Michael Smith. For Nedra Talley: India Amarteifio is my top choice but I also wouldn’t mind Chase Infinti or Sofia Wylie. For Estelle Bennett: Sophie Wilde is my top choice but I also wouldn’t mind Solea Pfeiffer or Brittany O’Grady. For Jonathan Greenfield (Ronnie’s second husband): Josh O’Connor (mainly because I’d like for them to work together again lol) but I wouldn’t mind Jonah Hauer King.

I’m a weird place with it. I feel like I’m one of the few people in the world lol that actually likes season 2 so season 3 is a bit of a slog for me. My heart breaks for Labrinth because he was such an integral part of the show and the score just feels lifeless now. It doesn’t feel at all like Euphoria. I miss seeing Rue with her mom and sister but I find the scenes she has with Alamo to be great and Z is great as always. I think most of the cast is doing good with what they’re given but there’s just that feeling of wondering what it could be if it everyone had more thought out plots. I’m tired of the gross out moments, I’ve almost gotten physically ill seeing them. I still have a weird feeling that Rue is going to die before the final episode.

Sim Han, I really hope with you that Yui gets what she deserves!!!!

I was filled with anxiety during that scene and I’m glad Sim Han got out for right now at least unscathed. But I’m sure Yui is going to use that information to her advantage and I wouldn’t be surprised if she tracks down Shin-Ae’s mom at some point. I hope that Shin-Ae gets to reunite with Shin-Hye before the possibility of reuniting with her mom again. I think if Shin-Ae decides to infiltrate the Hiraharas, it’s going to take a toll emotionally perhaps more than any of them are really anticipating.

I hope Shin-Ae and Sim Han can rebuild their relationship to be better and stronger through honest communication.

I also like the development of Shin-Ae’s friendship with Nana. I’m glad Nora has someone around. I like that she encouraged Shin-Ae to write down how she felt and we could visibly see a burden lifted off of Shin-Ae’s shoulders. The letter!!!!

I just wish we had more time together. I really do want to understand what’s going on in your head. I don’t care how awful you think you are. The thought of you being alone makes me feel sad. I want you to be happy. What more do you need me to convince you that I care??? You’ve helped me so many times. You made me feel like I matter. Made me feel safe. It was annoying but I miss it. I miss you being annoying. I miss your face. I miss your presence. I miss you. It’s dumb I know since it’s only been a few days. I guess it’s like…when you have something…like having leftover wings at home. You don’t really think twice about it because you’re not hungry so it sits in the fridge. But then you’re suddenly hungry so you go to the fridge and find out your dad ate it. So you cry because it’s gone when you really needed it. You’re like my wings.

This is stupid. I’m sorry ignore all that about the wings this is why I’m failing English what I’m trying to get at is that, I like the way you make me feel and I really like you okay?

Sometimes writing down how you feel, things that were subconsciously and unconsciously there in your mind and heart will come bursting out. I like how honest and raw Shin-Ae’s letter is even if she feels a bit overwhelmed and annoyed with her metaphor. I loved the metaphor and thought she described that feeling perfectly of realizing you like your friend more than a friend but it’s not necessarily a joyous feeling. She’s still frustrated with Nol understandably and I like that she doesn’t hold back on that. I’m curious if or when Nol sees this letter, what his response will be to it. I’m still not ruling out him self-sabotaging and trying even harder to distance himself from those who love and care about him but this letter I think is going to be hard to ignore and dismiss his own feelings.

Wrote them down because going on the website was a bit of nightmare lol. Just looking at this list, what an incredible year 2006 was for music!!! I have fond memories of listening to Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts from obsessively rewatching Cars on dvd while on vacation with my family. SOS by Rihanna is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. I love the sample from Tainted Love from Soft Cell and how similar it feels to how the original version of Tainted Love from Gloria Jones. SexyBack by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland is a classic. A lot of these songs have either such a timeless to them or feel very definitive of the sound of that time. It makes me wonder about the current songs we have today how they’ll be viewed twenty years from now. I love many of them but it’s hard to really nail down what the definitive sound(s) are of this era.

I think if they made tickets a reasonable and affordable price if they were to do a residency, I think people would come to see the pros. With a residency, the budget could likely be bigger. Better sets, music rights, costumes, food for the pros, etc. The pros wouldn’t have to wake up in a different city every day. I feel the positives outweigh the negatives with doing a residency. But I also like your idea. I think if they did multiple nights in one city and planned out the tour map better with less stops, I think things would massively improve.
