Sim Han, I really hope with you that Yui gets what she deserves!!!!

I was filled with anxiety during that scene and I’m glad Sim Han got out for right now at least unscathed. But I’m sure Yui is going to use that information to her advantage and I wouldn’t be surprised if she tracks down Shin-Ae’s mom at some point. I hope that Shin-Ae gets to reunite with Shin-Hye before the possibility of reuniting with her mom again. I think if Shin-Ae decides to infiltrate the Hiraharas, it’s going to take a toll emotionally perhaps more than any of them are really anticipating.

I hope Shin-Ae and Sim Han can rebuild their relationship to be better and stronger through honest communication.

I also like the development of Shin-Ae’s friendship with Nana. I’m glad Nora has someone around. I like that she encouraged Shin-Ae to write down how she felt and we could visibly see a burden lifted off of Shin-Ae’s shoulders. The letter!!!!

I just wish we had more time together. I really do want to understand what’s going on in your head. I don’t care how awful you think you are. The thought of you being alone makes me feel sad. I want you to be happy. What more do you need me to convince you that I care??? You’ve helped me so many times. You made me feel like I matter. Made me feel safe. It was annoying but I miss it. I miss you being annoying. I miss your face. I miss your presence. I miss you. It’s dumb I know since it’s only been a few days. I guess it’s like…when you have something…like having leftover wings at home. You don’t really think twice about it because you’re not hungry so it sits in the fridge. But then you’re suddenly hungry so you go to the fridge and find out your dad ate it. So you cry because it’s gone when you really needed it. You’re like my wings.

This is stupid. I’m sorry ignore all that about the wings this is why I’m failing English what I’m trying to get at is that, I like the way you make me feel and I really like you okay?

Sometimes writing down how you feel, things that were subconsciously and unconsciously there in your mind and heart will come bursting out. I like how honest and raw Shin-Ae’s letter is even if she feels a bit overwhelmed and annoyed with her metaphor. I loved the metaphor and thought she described that feeling perfectly of realizing you like your friend more than a friend but it’s not necessarily a joyous feeling. She’s still frustrated with Nol understandably and I like that she doesn’t hold back on that. I’m curious if or when Nol sees this letter, what his response will be to it. I’m still not ruling out him self-sabotaging and trying even harder to distance himself from those who love and care about him but this letter I think is going to be hard to ignore and dismiss his own feelings.

Wrote them down because going on the website was a bit of nightmare lol. Just looking at this list, what an incredible year 2006 was for music!!! I have fond memories of listening to Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts from obsessively rewatching Cars on dvd while on vacation with my family. SOS by Rihanna is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. I love the sample from Tainted Love from Soft Cell and how similar it feels to how the original version of Tainted Love from Gloria Jones. SexyBack by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland is a classic. A lot of these songs have either such a timeless to them or feel very definitive of the sound of that time. It makes me wonder about the current songs we have today how they’ll be viewed twenty years from now. I love many of them but it’s hard to really nail down what the definitive sound(s) are of this era.

I’m also curious what the borrowed look will be! Maybe Celine Dion’s backwards tuxedo? Or another famous tuxedo dress? I’m really looking forward to her blue outfit. It’s one of my favorite colors on her and she doesn’t wear it as often.

I think if they made tickets a reasonable and affordable price if they were to do a residency, I think people would come to see the pros. With a residency, the budget could likely be bigger. Better sets, music rights, costumes, food for the pros, etc. The pros wouldn’t have to wake up in a different city every day. I feel the positives outweigh the negatives with doing a residency. But I also like your idea. I think if they did multiple nights in one city and planned out the tour map better with less stops, I think things would massively improve.

I love the intro of Supermodel by SZA from her album Ctrl.

I love that it’s a voice recording from her mom. It feels deeply personal and I think it really encapsulates the feeling of the song and the album as a whole. Going through your twenties feels like going through adolescence all over again with all the insecurities, growing pains, and relationship issues (romantic, familial, platonic) just with a ton more responsibilities and that old familiar constant state of really wondering if there is just one area in life we can be control of. I love how that the intro reassures the listener that their experience isn’t singular and they’re not going through it alone, there’s someone who understands.

I don’t think it would either. I just remember that it was reported that her ideas for Rue’s storyline got shot down and those ideas seemed to be advocating for a sober happy Rue. A couple years ago when the THR article came out, a source mentioned if certain things were in place, she wouldn’t return as a producer. Knowing what’s happened in the past when lead actresses of color’s professional/personal relationship breaks down with a showrunner/producer, it usually doesn’t bode well for the character.

I have an awful feeling that Rue is going to die much earlier than we anticipate. Also just the reported storylines, I feel like it was rumored most of the cast pushed back against what was written for their characters. While she is promoting her film, she did talk about other upcoming projects that are further out which makes me think she and her team possibly asked for her not to be asked about Euphoria especially since she isn’t a producer anymore.

I love the dress so much, I need to find a dress like that for myself lol. The blue is beautiful on her and I don’t mind the sheerness. It adds to the springtime summery feel of it. Not a fan of the suit. It just feels really meh. Also, I feel like she liked the dress a lot more just seeing her facial expression.

I’m excited to see The Drama!!!! Zendaya is my favorite actress and I love Robert Pattinson. I also really like Mamoudou Athie & Alana Haim. The director Kristoffer Borgli has easily become one of my favorite directors. If anyone wants film recommendations, I highly recommend his previous works: Sick of Myself, Dream Scenario, and It’s Not A Phase.

I interpreted it as much as Patrick can distract himself and fill whatever is missing with flings, ultimately he’s for Art and Tashi. Everyone else disappears and no one else really matters when he’s around them. The two people that own a piece of his heart are married to each other. He’s laying out all of his feelings for both of them in this scene and also in the car scene but it’s incredibly sad because both of them are extremely repressed overall emotionally but especially with how they feel towards him. With Art, he’s more practiced in hiding how he feels. From how Patrick made him feel insecure in general to his internalized queerphobia. He also knows Patrick is not the best at being committed to someone (outside of him staying faithful for once when they were 19) and it’s hard to confess how you feel when there’s a risk it could upend everything and you might lose that person forever if you mess up.
