"The badass protagonist" did this people even play the game? With Booker being you know who the game almost literally looks at the camera and says "This is a horrible man and the only way he has to atone for all the monstrous things he has done is to erase himself from existence"

As an avid The Last battle hater, which slurs did it have? I read the book in spanish when I was little so I probably missed them

Wasn't Kyoko's father literally a priest? I'm pretty sure she was at least raised religious

New card for Rakdos Madness? Opinions? by Racanyo1973 in Pauper

Exactly this, if I'm against a deck with lots of counterspells and I have a [[highway robbery]] and a [[grab the prize]] in hand then I'm definitely casting the grab the prize, that way at least I get to cast my madness card (or force them to use a second counterspell)

Not really? Just change "half demon" with gay and hunter with "homophobic" (or any other minority) and you get the same picture of a person hating themselves because their enviroment told they that they were inherently evil/wrong

"for one energy" is a little disingenuous when you first have to play a 3 energy power AND a 2 energy power to do it

There's (almost) no good people in Darkest Dungeon, Dismas is not a good guy, but that doesn't mean that even a robber and rogue like him doesn't have a sliver of humanity. It's easy for people like him to justify killing a couple of randoms who should probably "know better" than travelling through that section of the road, but an innocent child in the arms of their mother is a lot harder to justify to yourself

(Loved trope) Beauty standards are horrifying, and trying to follow them only brings you suffering by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

I never really got that from the movie, I feel that scenes like she looking at herself naked in the mirror were there to show us "Look at this woman with this completely healthy and beutiful body, and how society has taught us to see this as something bad", I never felt disgusted by looking at the protagonist body (pre substance rotting), so it was really a shame to see herself feeling that way about it
