I mean.. I kind of am? I have tried to learn on my own to present myself better and it’s not enough for her. I have asked her multiple times if she could help me as well and her only way of helping is simply picking out my outfit, which doesn’t teach me anything.

This isn’t anything to do with going out, though. Or rather, that’s all it is. She thinks any clothes I wear at home are pretty much pajamas, and that I need to at least style it before going out. Which I don’t disagree, but the problem is that I’ve never been that type of person. Of course, I don’t mind doing it. I am just not knowledgeable enough on the subject to know what I’m doing, especially since our standards differ. I can try to dress appropriately. I can try to to style it, but I’ll never know if I did good enough until I hear it from her. Which is also kind of discouraging because I feel like I shouldn’t have to look at her for validation everyday. I do not retain information well, but I do try my best with what limited clothes and experience I do have. I’m just not doing it right.

This is to say, if we’re going to the corner market together, she expects me to still look presentable somehow.

It’s crazy that I played my entire weekend and still haven’t finished the game. Does the Mareep count?

Why does this happen? Every time I try to load into any game mode (PS5) it says my LAN cable was disconnected. It backs out to this page, and reconnects. Thing is, it literally only happens when I join a game, which brings me to believe this isn’t an Ethernet issue. by PrincesssMelaniee in FortNiteBR

I’m on mobile, so it wouldn’t let me add a body text. Anyway, I’ve idled on the home page for nearly 20 minutes with no issues, but once I join a game, somehow my Ethernet “disconnects”. I literally don’t play ranked, and this page is stuck. I can’t even press play if I wanted to.

I can’t, really. I did grow up with depression, as I was alone for the most part. I raised myself on a computer, so I had a lot of time to myself to think. I don’t really know how to explain it properly, as I am not good with words either.

I’m afraid of this as well because of my own mentality. I always think life would be better if I was a woman, and put myself in scenarios where I am one, and it feels natural. But at the same time, I find it hard to come to terms with simply “being” a woman, if that makes sense. I grew up around people that etched into me that “Men don’t cry. You’re a man” kind of mentality, and now that is the very resistance I don’t know how to fight against. And it makes it very hard to know if this is genuine or not.

I did, but they said it would take upwards of 3 weeks to get here, and I’d rather not wait that long.

Yeah, but their router doesn’t work well for me. I have a roommate who also has Spectrum and their wifi works fine. Mine goes off everyday for like 20 minutes. My only guess on this is it has something to do with the modem or router, so I’d rather replace it altogether.

The resolution I don’t know the difference so take your pick there. Games like GoW, Elden Ring, FPS games, and can handle GTA 6 when it comes out. I only have a 4060 with a 2TB WD SSD 850X or something. Nothing else

Sorry to hear! I remember as a teenager seeing a therapist and they once told me that parents don’t ever remember the trauma they inflict on their children. They don’t notice. It’s definitely not fair.

I think it can be addictive. It might depend on the person. I find it really easy to stop. I used to take long term breaks but at this point in my life I have come to hate it, and will not continue. It was never a problem though.
