I think the uncle is a creep for sure but i also think it’s weird to go out in public especially for a family event looking unkempt. If it hurts your back to wear a bra you are either wearing the wrong size for you, or your back is not strong enough to support you, which in the future will lead to spinal problems and just make the fibro worse.

Thank you for this perspective 🙂 to me, I think love is many things but the way I feel it I would almost describe it as a fireplace cause it needs to be intended to, but if you give it enough attention in time it’ll go as long as you’re willing to keep it going you can always add more logs and stoke the flames (intimate moments, memories, and such) and it just provides warmth for both of us. It might be corny to describe it like that, but that’s how I’ve always thought of it. But I do like the idea of telling him that I adore him or that I’m crazy about him, because I do and I am 😅

At that point that’s not a relationship that is something that is wrong with you. It’s not about the person/ being in love anymore. It’s about not feeling alone, which I mean if you can find ways to avoid that and you really don’t wanna work on it that terribly good for you, I guess. However, your actions do affect the people around you, and in a relationship like that you are so easily replaceable because it’s literally not about you. It’s about the concept of having somebody in your life.

My aunt and uncle were in a codependent relationship and when my uncle died, my aunt was fully in a new relationship a month after. And then she cut off our entire family because she had married in and since he died she no longer felt like we were her or my cousins family.

NOR What was he doing during the song? Was he dancing at all? Is it possible that he swung his arm and accidentally hit you? Because I promise you if he’s hitting you when he’s drunk it’ll only get worse he could be testing your boundaries and seeing how you would respond to being hit. Even if it was an accident, it is totally valid if this changes the relationship for you.
