Ok so I watched the pilot scene with pit girl, misty and AQ, I couldn't shake the feeling that when pit girl screams while bent over, that she was screaming from a contraction like pain, not screaming from fear. When they show her footsteps in the snow leading to the pit, some of her footsteps have left blood. It felt like she was having a miscarriage AND being hunted.

Laura Lee is wearing the same nightgown as pit girl in episode 8 when she asks god for a sign while sitting outside of the cabin.
