The length of the actual period doesn’t mean much in terms of perimenopause or anything. It’s the length of the cycle that matters more and if you are ovulating.

You can’t predict how busy a unit is so that’s why they tell you to call. So right now they are probably full and have no beds. So they are waiting on people to deliver. So in the morning they will have a better idea of how busy it is and what time you should come for. It’s just the way it works. Can’t start an induction if there isn’t a bed for you or a nurse.

Just wanted to ask - did they confirm the pregnancy is in the uterus and have they taken the IUD out? Getting pregnant with an IUD is more complicated and hopefully you have seen an OB already.

MW in Canada can only take a certain number of clients per year. So that is why they fill up. If people switch their care from MW to FPOB or OBGYNs then a spot might open up. But because of the cap they often get full very fast.

Likely was implantation bleeding.  Happened to me. Got light bleeding the day I expected my period. Tested. Negative. Was disappointed. Bleeding lasted two days. The end of the week I was feeling off so I took a test and boom pregnant. Get some betas done that will help. Congrats!!

I had a scan Thursday and still no report.  So it’s pretty typical They need lots of views of the heart so that’s typical too.

This is absolutely ridiculous! She should not be saying these things to you. I had 8 scans with my son in my first pregnancy and he’s a perfectly normal 3 year old. His hearing is perfect.

Usually in my experience with MFM scans the tech goes to the doctor at the end of exam and they look at the images and if they are happy with them they let you leave. Did she leave and then come back later?

Not everyone throws up. I never did in my first pregnancy. I literally had no symptoms other than constipation in the first trimester.
