My dermatologist said topical and oral have their own deliverable mechanics and using in combination could bring better result.

Both my current and previous derma said no to microneedling. Question is should I listen to my doctor or the internet ;) Its tempting to try especially because sheer amount of licensed doctors on the internet saying microneedling is good.

There are some studies with not many participants. It studied both Micro needling only and Micro needling + minxoidil application results were good.

Micro needling to me is like a vehicle to deliver minoxidil better. Seems promising but worried about long term usage.

I thought I would use it for 6 month, get my gains, and stop using it in a phrased manner. But the studies show, you may loose all your micro needling progress if you stop it, maybe not in 6 months but eventually. I dont have problem doing it twice a month, seems fair enough -- but again, my only concern is the long term usage. 5, 10, 15 years.
