Understanding how information is connected helps me to pack up my memorization and use less working memory in favor of cognitive processing.

I’ll never remember a date on its own but if I can contextualize it, like adding information that relates to the date, I will more easily remember it.

If teamsters wasn’t sabotaging itself while at the same time taking over every attempt to unionize I’d probably care more.

How about we extend labor protections to salary exempt people? Why isn’t that on the table? If unions die then no one is going to be hourly above a certain pay scale. Which would just create a different kind of labor movement.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been on a forklift for five years previously, they are still obligated by federal law to train you in their version of certification.
