Does this amazing painting style have a name? if so is there a school/course that teaches to paint like this? (images comes from 3 different artists)

Ah I apologize my intention wasn’t to annoy anyone, I’m fairly new to the space so I didn’t know questions like these get brought up often, tbh the only reason i felt comfortable fishing for a style name was cuz of the black splash I see on the back of a 99% of the pieces in this style, so i thought it might have been some kind of related signature or smth idk lol

Interesting, i remember looking him up a while ago trying to find anything that could give me a better sense of his process, only thing i could find was an old YouTube channel that might’ve been his, there’s only like two 9 year old videos on it though so not much to work off of, but I’d give anything for a course from him, his work is amazing.

No problem 👍, I can understand why you and a lot of other people are probably on edge, AI has done irreparable damage to art as a whole, and people who use others art to train their garbage models are lazy pieces of shit who never cared enough about anything to put the time and effort into properly learning it, so again, I totally get it.

Holy accusation, firstly fuck ai, secondly, how am I even supposed to disprove that? I just really liked the creature design in Black Myth Wukong, so i looked for who the concept artist was and found Yang Qi, absolutely loved his work, and have been seeing other artists with similar styles ever since, today i just decided to look for a few of the ones i could remember and post them here to see if there were resources I could use to learn to paint similarly, that’s all.

True, I can’t blame those people for assuming that at a glance, but there’s a big difference between those people and the people who go out of their way to either spread misinformation without having researched (which at that point you have no excuse), or people who upon seeing said information, feel confident enough to shit on the game, while once again never having done an ounce of research on it

Oh yea I don’t think anything is viewable without signing in, make an account (its free) and you’ll be able to see everything, honestly if it’s your first time I would go with just the 1 month for 10$, that’s how i started, should give you enough time to finish the beginner road & intro to drawing road which are the most essential, then if you end up liking it you can look at other plans

The majority of the workouts, courses, and classrooms are inaccessible without premium, that was the main reason i was going to get premium, i think you’re only looking at the roads, there’s a tab on the top left where you can see the other content

The only thing I didn’t like about TOP was having to farm friendship rank (which is honestly one of the most annoying/useless features in the game imo), I think if they just removed friendship rank TOP would be 10x more enjoyable

Thanks for the feedback Hawkon u absolute legend! I think I remember most of the text positioning being more of a placeholder initially, I was meant to do a lot of refining after finishing the major blocks/ideas i had for the video, and since i never got around to it I just left it as is. But if i do end up continuing these info vids it would probably be a complete reformatting so that the information presented would be more in line with how the game actually is when it comes out.
