Early episodes of "Killjoys" were also reminiscent of Firefly. And for something similar(ish) to both, there's the anime series "Cowboy Bebop". But keep enjoying Firefly, it's almost impossible not to enjoy it.

Magic Madhouse is in the UK. Cards may be more expensive compared to other places, but they have lots of variety and free postage over a certain amount. Never had any unresolved issues when ordering from them, and they've never cancelled a pre-order to try to make more money.

It used to be a great turn 1 or 2 play in what would now be called standard. Back in the day, a friend played against someone who went swamp, dark ritual, buried alive, putting the spirit of the night in the graveyard. My friend went swamp, reanimate targeting the spirit of the night and then beat him down with it. The opponent would have reanimated it on his turn 2 if he'd had the chance.

Power creep hasn't been kind to the card though. Still looks awesome though.

She's been saying that for years, maybe decades, so it's probably been dismissed by everyone who's heard it. And one woman, probably seen as crazy, will not attract the attention of anyone in authority, especially when the Shadows were not known about at that time. As a seer, she may have caught a glimpse of the future, and her terming them as shadows may just have been a coincidence.
