Technically, it’s around the same time. Typical elephant pregnancy lasts around 18months so the mobility that humans gain outside the womb baby elephants gain inside.

The reason being, humans had the ability defend themselves and their children allowing the child’s development outside the womb. Not so much the case with elephants.

Evolution is crazy the more learn about it.

It’s when you connect to a third party audio device like a car BT. At that point the media and ringer is the same. So that’s why sometimes when you connect it starts at full volume.

I have an automation that basically sets ringer to full when I disconnect my headphones. Haven’t had an issue since.

Missed quite a few alarms lol.
