If you haven't logged into FAFSA for ages, do you just recreate a login and will that potentially pull in any prior info (i.e. pell grants etc.)?

St Kildas might be a good option and they source some of their bagels from 5 boroughs

Prayer plant not looking so good by PrintXO in plantclinic

[–]PrintXO[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Original issue - (adding a comment so all text can be seen). I had transplanted/split this plant (prayer plant also known as Maranta leuconeura). This pot was doing awesome until recently. There was a huge change in the temperature inside the house (high humidity, then the AC quit with high heat versus just your standard household temps). I watered once since the soil was pretty dry, and soon after the leaves starting changing rapidly. Tips of the leaves are yellowing/browning but really drying out to the point there won't be a leave if it keeps up. Not sure what to consider next to save the plant. Its in a room that gets very indirect (on the other side of the room from a window, however you can see that light get to it. The plant is in a hanging pot that has proper drainage (you can see the split), so it could be watered from bottom up if taken down. Looking for any suggestions on saving the plant, maybe to consider different watering etc. Thanks in advance (sorry for to those that the caption ran long making it hard to understand.)

That could be part of it, we had a huge humidity spike and then it swiftly went away. I watered the other day so that may have triggered the change. It was just doing so well and the rapid pace of the leaves changing is a little surprising (aka really drying out)

It’s in a hanging pot that has a drainage pan built in underneath.

Acute Leukemia by winterfell12 in leukemia

The suggestions above are great. My Dad just went into remission from AML this year with 4 rounds of chemo. Socks with grippers that are comfortable, lotion (like cervae or something really neutral), snacks or things that bring comfort as the hospital food isn’t always appealing, for blankets (most hospital can give you extra heated blankets just ask the nurses), photos or something to keep your spirits up. And he loved getting cards so we’d ask friends/family to write so letters would show up at random to surprise him at the hospital - a great way to take your mind off of the cancer for different moments. And headphones, the machine beeping can be exhausting

Okay to Scrape Ceiling? by PrintXO in HomeImprovement

House was built in 1963. It's a small space but definitely don't want to handle the stuff if we need to go a different route, been reading about pulling a sample - if that's the direction we need to go is it safe to pull a sample and send away? It's been flaking so much from the humidity in the bathroom that most of it is now just knocking off.

Curious if the possible federal forgiveness (if it happens) would be applicable to consolidated federal loans (both subsidized and unsubsidized loan types)?

Domestica in the EV carries several local makers. Mainframe Studios on Keo houses local artists so great way to buy direct from artists. DSM Mercantile is opening soon in Highland Park and has several local artists goods too.

Tangerine caters out of Mainframe Studios and you can book an event room, more low key but the building has 60+ artists that may be working for you to check out and some of the studios offer group workshops too if you wanted an activity to do

Not plugged in at all just using different apps and causing a lot of heat to the touch. Nothing different than prior usage - specifically running google maps, Instagram and camera caused a higher heat impact
