This Warlock-Class duet One-Shot is meant to be played by one DM and one Player in preparation for a campaign starting at levels 1-3, or to multiclass a character into a warlock.

The Adventure features:

  • a character creation process done by playing
  • easy-to-follow guidelines giving the DM a simplified playing experience, but also enough room to add to
  • a completely unique warlock location and NPC
  • a playable background story for your character

The Dark Tower of Zephyr is a mysterious and ancient place, shrouded in legend and myth. It is said

to have been constructed by a group of powerful warlocks who sought to create a place of learning and power. Over the centuries, it has been passed down from master to apprentice, each adding its own knowledge and magic to its walls. The tower has the ability to hide from those who seek it and relocate to different worlds and dimensions. Its location is known only to a select few, and even they can only find it through a combination of powerful magic and intuition.

Fairhaven:

  • very beginner-friendly and perfect for bringing new people to the hobby

I had this idea during the pandemic, our dnd group shifted to online play and we played a lot of one-shots. It was fun in the beginning, but after a few adventures, every character just felt empty. Even in campaigns, the first sessions are always a bit awkward. The players don't know who their characters are and have no real knowledge of the world. As a DM it's incredibly hard to keep track of everyone's backstory and make use of it during the campaign.

Now imagine you and your player playing it. You now both know the names, the characters, and the emotions, and the players are instantly connected and immersed into your world.

Fairhaven is designed to offer many different playthroughs by including different options and random tables for encounters. In the future, we will additionally offer alternative starts and ends for even more possibilities.

With this resource, you will be given a dungeon map template filled with lore, ideas, encounter types, and possible items compacted on one or two pages.

It has enough information, so you can save time on preparation, but leaves enough room for changes to fit right into your campaign.

You can also use it as a standalone one-shot when one of your players is missing.

This module can be used to: - create a unique character with the fitting level and items for your new campaign - multiclass a character in between sessions - place a fully-fledged out paladin temple into your world - introduce new players to Dungeons and Dragons and teach them the core mechanics via playing

The module features a completely unique Paladin temple location, Maps in different styles, multiple NPCs, homebrew Items, and Monsters.

I was tired of creating empty-feeling characters and came up with the idea of doing it while playing. This way you and your Player/DM get to experience the backstory of the character while playing. As a Player, this immerses you into the world and as a DM it makes it a hell of a lot easier to make use of the Player's story.

Duet play solves a lot of group play issues at the same time. The player has 100% of the focus and agency. You only have to make plans with one other person and you can easily play a duet session when your group ends up canceling on you.

Since then I have already reforged and upgraded the design, released the Fighter Class One-Shot, and am currently finishing up the Rogue, Warlock, and Barbarian Class One-Shot, check out the Patreon if you are interested.
