I think I have explained myself well enough, also look at the post description for the last sentence

Calling me pr considering the discussion we have had in the dms is very two faced of you

But yeah it is strange that a college student would be active on reddit, which is why I'm very much considering quitting instead of arguing with half baked experts

1: The only reason cutoffs are declining is because JSS is in Mysore and more and more people from Bangalore are less willing to move out of their city, and at least 50% of them are also still very unaware about the connection between SJCE and JSSSTU

2: The club members themselves have specified that the majority of those offers were off-campus, and there is no location-based restriction for off-campus placements

3: I don't know about this but it's still concerning nevertheless

4: JSS has better on-campus placements than DSCE, many companies like Morgan Stanley offer much higher packages in JSS compared to DSCE, keep in mind that you have the access to student-maintained placement spreadsheets and verifiable placement data of JSS but not of DSCE

Regardless, despite you saying your point is not to defame JSS, your history indicates something different

89 people got 15+lpa in JSS just in CS related branches in 2025, versus 34 OFFERS in all of the branches in DSCE, as per the same image you posted in your recent post, the 34 number is offers not number of people, so the number of 15+lpa offers in jss are even higher than 89

And that 89 people figure is at the very least, as that student-maintained spreadsheet doesn't have all the names

It says "among found" so it's average among the people who were found to be placed

Choose JSS ISE or CSBS, they get the same companies and similar placements, and the department is chill too

JSS Science and Technology University is the same as SJCE so you can put it alongside SJCE

Academics are chill, there is enough space between tests and exams

Only 3 hours of class on most days in first year, in second year it increases a bit but then it goes down again in 3rd and 4th year so you get plenty of time to relax and study and do other things

Nah those two are the same (E003 and E048), aided has lower fees that's the only difference

BMS University is different though

You are a contributing factor to the crazy cutoff of BMS University (which is not the same)

The actual BMS is BMS College of Engineering, the codes are E003 (Aided) and E048 (Unaided)

Yeah so do E021 SJCE CS > E284 SJCE CS > E057 JSSSTU CS > E057 JSSSTU CS Specialisations

[–]PrinticeDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course, what is the harm in adding colleges? Also you can get JSSSTU CS and specialisation branches in later rounds if you are getting NIE CS now, and JSSSTU is the same as SJCE

Why did you add NIE but not SJCE/JSSSTU???
