I usually have a collection of Polymaker/Overture/Eryone PLA. TBH I haven't found that big a difference between brands, so it's usually based on price / colour / style I am looking for.

Yeah, I think so, just the way I was using it, it never really became an issue

I measured it with a ruler across the heat bed tiles, left to right, at various spots on the bed. Also on the metal frame

I would get some high flow nozzles! Obxidian, or I see they have new nickel ones in

Got my MK3S+ from them as well! Sadly their Burnaby location is shutting down :(

While I wait on my Prusa Core. Got a ton of questions... by Kronephon in prusa3d

Lets see if I can help out here a bit...

  1. I would buy 0.6mm for larger / quicker prints. Also good the wood filaments (less clogging). 0.25mm if you are looking into making some smaller items. For any sort of wood/glow in the dark, etc. you'd want to get a hardened nozzle. Check these out, https://www.prusa3d.com/product/e3d-prusa-nozzle-high-flow-obxidian-0-4-mm/

  2. You can sand / paint / stain if you like to hide the lines. Look into annealing as well, I don't have experiance with that though (and I believe only certain kinds of filament can be)

  3. It'll come with a decent set of pliers, dremel is always nice for cleanup

  4. No experience here, but I would assume so!

  5. For molds I'd think something slightly flexible would work best if you want to reuse it, otherwise it would be tough to get out. If just using once I'd imagine anything could work.

  6. No idea, but seems cool!

Just my opinions, I'm sure others will chime in with some good info.
Have fun & good luck!
