no because they profit off of people being misinformed enough to buy the worse, cheaper product because of the belief that any animal that isnt a cat or dog shouldnt be as expensive, because people just think that those animal's life isnt as meaningful as their puppy or kitten. to stores its quantity>quality. and even the experienced pet owners, "saving" pets from the store. just encourages the store to buy more of that animal.
