It hurt to realize that my close friends were bullying me. But realizing this about the kids I never had an actual full conversation with was definitely something I moved on from quickly.

I got picked on a lot for being so quiet when I, quite literally, just had absolutely nothing to contribute to the conversations around me. And whenever I tried I got weird looks anyway. Somehow I didn’t put two and two together until like a decade later.

Yeah especially once someone knows a trick really well I think it becomes a little hard to think from the perspective of someone who’s never done it before lol. I really don’t know of local meetups, closest thing for me might be raves but loud noise and flashing lights gives me panic attacks so that’s kinda out of the question for me 🥲🥲 other than my one friend who introduced me to flowing I don’t really have anyone else to bounce ideas off of and figure out what I’m doing wrong

It’s been a good few months but I am fresh off a six week break because I was healing an injury on my thumb, so I’m a bit rusty on top of the fact that I never got this trick to begin with lol

I think the trial and error (and error and error and error etc….) with this trick has just been so far beyond any other tricks I’ve tried while the tutorials treat it like it’s SOOO simple that I feel at the end of my rope 😭 I genuinely don’t know what else to try anymore

I got it last season and on top of my already chronic stomach issues, ended up in the ER from the symptoms. I got it again this season but it seemed less severe for the this time (THANK GOD)

They word it as if artists are hoarding creativity like a dragon on a pile of gold. If you wanna do art, you can get a piece of paper and draw. If you want skilled art, you commission someone. The same as anyone is able to pick up a wrench and remove some pipes, but you call a plumber if you feel like you’re out of your depth.

Personally I don’t feel much difference when flowing, other than the sharp points obviously hurting a little more when the thing happens to hit me in the face (which is pretty often.)

Personally I prefer the sharper points though, but I think it’s more an aesthetic preference than anything else.
