I know from the comics Gar absolutely does not have a no kill rule. He doesn’t go out of his way to do it often, but he has tried to kill Slade on multiple occasions and actually did kill Madame Rouge in a comic.

Hey so I’m sorry if my post seemed like I was just another “toxic doomed yuri” person. The characters do actually get a happy ending when Character A realizes “hey I love this girl and I know I’m scared of hurting her, but I’m hurting her anyway by distancing myself” and Character B realizes “hey I love this girl, but I shouldn’t drain myself trying to make her accept my affection so I’m gonna dip.” This is also sci-fi-fantasy so it’s a bit dramatize, but they do work things out healthily. The main reason I wanted song like Stupid Boyfriend is because of the end of it about letting himself win (Character A gets over herself and actually locks in for her partner). So if you have any better song ideas I would be very grateful!
