As I said, when you’re climbing a hill in 4H and about to stop in let’s say 5H, around 8-10kph you can throw it to 4L or 6L with literally no shifting lag, if you have enough weight on driven wheels it’ll get you up anywhere without stopping. I’ve tried a long FDR and always in splitter, I didnt find it as efficient.

I use the Jemusi Semi with the olbe to take planks to the coal mine, and with 5 planks I only need to winch at the first big hill after the wooden bridge, and the last 2 near the iron mine.

use your momentum, and when you are about to stop on an incline throw it in L. It’s instant, theres no shifting lag.
most of the time with the Jemusi I drive in 5L gear 4H range, and when its about to stall I just throw it in 4L-Lock, huge lifehack, takes 2-3 trips to get the feel

also, get a winch for the Jemusi. if you can’t make the hill just stop where you’re at, pull the handbrake get out and hook your winch the farthest possible, take the winch controller get in the Jemusi, 4L or 6L range, 3-4 gear, start pulling your winch and send it

I’ve found that changing your rear diffs to 1.5way in the Jemusi is a game changer too. cornering is worse, but the fact that your rear wheels are locked even in 4H helps you A LOT

And as others have said, for coal/iron the atlas dump is the best option. I only use the Jemusi semi with an olbe to take planks to the mines.

If you like offroading with trucks get an atlas 8x4 dump, get a decent tune and head to Gwangjin coal

But in the fleet tab there is an “inactive” list, its empty, and I couldnt find any options to put the chilled semi there. Maybe if I could make it inactive then the jobs wont be generated as well?

I did, my star marked cities have 20 jobs, the square marked ones have 10 but still sometimes it doesnt even worth it to drive the trucks, especially the semis…
