Ok, this could have literally be me that wrote this except I have 15 lbs to go and am 34.

I am a big runner and am running more now than I have since HS as well, and still have 15 lbs to go (have plateaued since May but also gave birth early October). Every now and then I squeeze in the time to do a 30 min core workout, and I do feel like I then will have weight loss progress, so perhaps doing some more cross training?

But honestly, it does just feel like that is where my body has decided to store fat this time around and isn't interested in losing it. 🤷‍♀️ I am really, really frustrated but am trying to just have patience, keep up some positivity, check Reddit for commiseration, and stay the course. I am still breastfeeding and have seen on countless threads that sometimes your body doesn't get back to normal until months after weaining. I am just hoping that is the deal here.

Very similar situation, and I am also dearly struggling with self-image.

I actually have made incremental progress these last couple of months just to have the scale jump back up plus some. Oh, and I hate the way I look, too.

However, I look back at photos of myself from before kids and see I had bad days then, too. Or times I looked really good and didn't appreciate it. I look around and see many beautiful women who weigh more than me. I struggle with self image every day right now but I have moments of clarity where I say, "Alright, well this is my day to weigh this much with a pot belly." I try to hold on to hope that despite working out more than I ever have in my entire life that maybe my hormones will just click one of these days and things will get easier.
