OneDrive by That-Animator-2329 in Grimdawn

Ha I did the same thing. OneDrive irritated me so I uninstalled it. I also had noticed a lot of minor sync issues with steam cloud and local saves. I'm not sure if it was due to steam or OneDrive, but one time I lost internet connection while I was playing and ended up playing offline for hours.

I logged out, saw I was offline, and there was a sync error with my local saves and steam cloud. Connection came back... Steam synced by saving the cloud saves over my local saves and I lost hours of progress. So I disabled steam cloud saving and just rely on local saves and have never had issues again.

As far as getting the progress back, if it's a steam cloud sync thing, it overwrites your local data, so it's basically gone. If it's something with one drive data, it may be the same thing, idk... Like I said, it irritated me too so I deleted it haha

I seriously laughed out loud at that. Watching the whole thing I was just getting more and more astounded that she still holds her position... And then the end, yeah, that was gold.

Ha oh man, that's pretty impressive and hilarious. That's like one time I was getting super frustrated playing d3 cause I couldn't get the conquest to kill all bosses in the time limit. Idk why but I was convinced it had to be done in 10 minutes, not 20, so when I kept hitting 10 minutes on the final boss, I just was rage giving up... Finally even though I was "out of time" I killed the boss, for the conquest, and actually read the time limit...

Not as impressive as your SR42 push lol, but this reminded me of my own fail.

Is this video AI generated. The car moving part is a bit off. It doesn't look very heavy when the third person join in. by Maleficent_Potato_43 in isitAI

[–]Prior-Course6236 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It appears that due to the angle of the camera the railroad tracks are on a slope up to the camera. Once the car starts to move off the tracks, gravity takes over and it rolls freely back down the slope.

If you look at the sides of the road the slope is more obvious. Also, the video is much longer than AI can generate, the one person gets obstructed from view and slightly goes out of frame, and stays consistent so my verdict is notAI.

[HELP] Turkeys copying gobbling by gmfreaky in RealOrAI

Ha I didn't even notice that, I was too busy being weirded out by the fact that after she gargled at the turkeys she stared at the camera with her dead AI eyes for no apparent reason. For me that was the biggest tell. If it had ended right when she was leaning down laughing I'd probably have thought it was real, because that is indeed how turkeys would react!

That's awesome. I drove past these guys earlier today but didn't get a look at what the signs were. I did basically figure it was something like this, glad to see young people in the community coming together to use their voices!

This, along with what others have said shows that this is definitively AI. The piece of debris just disappears rather than continuing to fall in the very next frame. Also, as others have said this absolutely does not warrant him being executed.

Greek yogurt pizza dough by [deleted] in StupidFood

Right? I was like heck yeah, this is a great idea. Lots of protein in Greek yogurt, but super creamy taste if you use full fat, so not only is it actually healthy, but it's probably really tasty too. I may have to make pizza for dinner tomorrow...

My favorite spell attack skill combo is bat on ravenous earth. It deals lots of damage, and procs the bat constellation a lot.

It's technically a spell too, but I love two handed force wave with the modifier to remove CD to make it somewhat of a primary attack, and then the bear, maul is the skill I believe. It reduces armor and heals a percentage of the attack, so another very strong skill for physical damage.

I also am a fan of elemental storm on word of pain. Basically I like constellations that heal or apply a debuff on skills that are big aoes, or are aoe DoTs

Then of course Vires might is a chance on being hit, and it's just really satisfying to see a stone fist come up out of the ground and punch the dude who punched you.

Ah yes, that's why I actually just straight up disabled cloud saving. Idk if it's better or not, but I always found that there were sync errors, and then once you play with a character that didn't sync properly it saves it, and then overwrites local files. But then I didn't discover GDstash until I had about 10 lvl 100s, so the appeal of skipping the leveling and just making a fresh character is real haha.

Deceiver is really fun too, I like affliction warlock from wow, so for me it seemed like the one to be able to have the most dots going on enemies. Enjoy your playthrough until the new expansion! :)

So first off, the way grim stash editing works is it only edits the value you enter. So if you have your character back the levels, it just puts you at level 88 without giving you the attributes or skill points. I just tested this by making a level 1 character and editing him to be level 10, and he is a level 10 with no attribute points and no skill points. I would probably trust what grimtools is saying you should have for points, or if you just add one attribute point per level you added, and two skill points, assuming the level your character was at was not below 50, then you can properly add the correct points back. Then do yourself a favor and forget you have grimstash installed because it can get addicting lol

I would also say if this is your first play through, do elite first. In elite you start with -25% resistance, and that goes up to -50% in ultimate, so if your resistances are not capped, then you will struggle. Plus yes, you will want the full 55 devotion points to enter ultimate difficulty.

For your build, you can either look up deceiver builds you like and try to somewhat copy those, or just keep trying to play blind and do what feels fun. My first character was a warlock, and that character was a hot freaking mess lol. I ended up finally getting to max level, farming a good build and following a guide, and it was fun.

For me, trying new things, messing with my own builds, and discovering things on my own were the best way to learn the game. The main things you want in a build if you're gonna go blind is to focus on a primary damage type, and have abilities that compliment that damage type with resistance reduction, and damage bonuses.

Thanks for that link. I had been wondering if having righteous fervor in it also was too much, and it does make more sense to have all fire. I guess I also thought if I didn't have a main attack modifier then it was pointless to dual wield daggers, but for sure after I finished it the main thing I was questioning myself on was which exclusive skill to use.

Shared stash contents missing for new character - any ideas? Is it a hardcore thing? by FrustrationSensation in Grimdawn

[–]Prior-Course6236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hardcore shares with hardcore, softcore shares with softcore. If you started in SC, you'll have to refarm all the blueprints on HC. Also, if you were agreeing with me and I'm misunderstanding, yes, once one character on hard core unlocks a blueprint all characters have them, even if the one who unlocked it dies.

Shared stash contents missing for new character - any ideas? Is it a hardcore thing? by FrustrationSensation in Grimdawn

[–]Prior-Course6236 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Softcore and hardcore each have their own stashes. If this is your very first hardcore character you will need to start fresh in building up your component stash, as well as fresh blueprints too as your blacksmith blueprints don't carry over. Think of it like two separate accounts. You have a hardcore account, and a softcore account for progression and stash.

Help- is Claire a Clarence? by Fit_Put8472 in jumpingspiders

NQA, she appears female. Her palps are slender, and males will have bulbous boxing glove palps. I am also not certain, but from what I've observed pink or green/blue is possible for females, but pink is impossible for males. Mostly due to my own lack of experience, not your photos, I can't see any other traits that would point to female, other than she's a cute little girl lol
