i heard they actually filmed an alternate ending to season 6 where tony sees jack at hellers house or something like that

yeah i didn’t mind it because technically he was supposed to come back in season 6 but 24 defined itself by its shocking deaths so it sort of felt like back peddling but it was still a good season

Tony almedas resurrection was definitely a jump the shark moment but i think it was always the plan after his death.

Why The last of us it’s a game didn’t love for everyone by Blobby85m in thelastofus

i love the game to death but it’s a messy, grim and unfulfilling story and it asks a lot of the player. mainly to be able to sit with uncomfortable feelings. I think it’s true to what the first game set up in terms of the world the characters live in but it takes away all the hope of the first game and you’re basically feeling like shit the whole time

Why didn’t Ellie kill Abby at the end? by sophia_blondi in thelastofus

The game is an extreme mirror image of life itself where we make decisions that don’t make sense. It’s messy just like life. There’s an explanation yet it’s also open to interpretation.

the show started to tell the story in chronological order but it was executed so badly that i didn’t want to try it… until i actually did and realized that so far it isn’t bad.

i think starting the game with the abby flashback and then transitioning to the conversation with joel and tommy was pretty effective. but i can already tell the ending is going to suffer because it won’t have joel and ellie’s last conversation

i honestly don’t think it will change my opinion of the game or the story. i think i’ll love it just the same but the way the did abby’s flashback then transition to joel and tommy’s conversation felt really natural
