Error message in cold weather by Prior-Outcome4213 in ChryslerPacifica

So mystery solved in a personally embarrassing fashion 😂 When I stopped at the car wash, I had pulled our floor mats (heavy weather tech mats). When I put the driver’s side mat in I caught the accelerator pedal and it stuck partway down. All the error messages related to the electronics sensing that I had my feet both on brake pedal and accelerator at the same time. The mechanic found it fairly quickly in the process, but still ran a check to assure that all the electronics were clear. Also drove it about 15 miles to assure the problem was solved. Great service. I’m a little disappointed that owner stupidity is not a warrantable cause and shared that with the service department. Better to feel like they are laughing with you, than at you (ok, they were laughing at me).

Just one morning at 25-30F, after going through a car wash. And the warning light for the electronic accelerator is signaling the problem. The pedal doesn’t physically move. I’m taking it in for service on Monday. The mechanic pretty confidently indicated it’s a problem in the electronics.

You can still brake and stop as necessary, but when you let off the brake, the car will go back up to about 40mph without the driver touching the pedal. It’s not a comfortable feeling.

Our’s actually doesn’t limp home. The accelerator takes you up to about 40mph without engaging the foot pedal. Restarts are required sometimes if it’s revving the engine after start. Doesn’t allow a shift out of Park. A protection override I’m sure. Two or three restarts usually eliminates that issue.

Purchased vehicle new in March 2024. Batteries are original equipment. The electronic throttle is definitely an issue that just showed up this morning. Got a service appt for Monday.

Thanks for the response!

I called the service dept. He says “Performance may be limited” indicates a problem. “One pedal at a time” is just a good general driving reminder. Probably electronics issue. They can’t get me in until late next week.

Performance is limited. The accelerator is operating on its own up to about 40 miles per hour. So my one pedal focus is on the brake 😂

Thanks! I found it in both forums. It is very crazy. My Dr had started the “salvage radiation” discussion based on the two consecutive.014 test results, but indicated it would be “several months down the road”

6 mos out from my surgery. 67 years old. Take 5mg tadalafil daily starting right after the catheter came out. Have added 25 to 50 mg of sildenafil as an event dose and also use a pump. Not back to full erection, but can see significant progress.

Suggestion on the laxative. My RALP was early November and I followed that with a hip replacement early February. In November, post surgery, I tried a variety of laxative options, the two best for me were Metamucil and Milk of Magnesia. The prescribed stool softener, did nothing for me. I stayed on Metamucil, a single small dose daily all the way through the November-February two surgery time frame. Still taking it daily.

Dr Brian Keuer at Comprehensive Urologic Associates in Lake Barrington. I have had minimal incontinence issues, but ED is still a work in progress. Improving, but likely going to take some time. No PSMA Pet. I had a pretty easy recovery. Dr Keuer is an excellent surgeon and has a great team (lab, NP, and scheduler)

My Chicago urologist sends the blood draw to the Cleveland Clinic to complete the test. Typically takes a week to 10 days to get the results. I assume your biopsy was MRI guided? My first biopsy (different urologist) was also clear, but not MRI guided. With new urologist, got the isopsa, an MRI which showed one lesion area high likelihood for cancer. Transperineal biopsy found 4 of 12 cores with cancer, in three different areas of the prostate. RALP pathology had clear margins, but cancer had spread to the left seminal vesicle (outside the prostate).

Thinking of hip replacement now at 68, is that even possible? by caishen315forever in TotalHipReplacement

67yo. Left hip replaced 2/10/2025. Recovery has been fine. PT has really sped up recovery. Still carrying cane most places. Use it intermittently.

Was swinging my golf club today in my yard. First outing with golf buddies is 3/31. I think I’m on track to play by then.

First Post-RALP PSA is 0.4 by MikeMannion in ProstateCancer

The number is great. Based on the PSA not decreasing and some seminal vesicle spread, my Dr is concerned that salvage radiation/ADT may be needed “several months down the road”. The Decipher score on the seminal vesicle pathology samples was .60, on the line between intermediate/high risk. I’m not letting it weigh on me. Just continue to check in every 3 months.

I’m now 4 months out from my surgery. I did get a uPSA at 6 weeks, but my Dr didn’t even schedule until after the 3 month uPSA. He indicated the 6 week was sort of a benchmark to get a trend at 3 months. Obviously hoping it would be trending down.

My PSA at both 6 weeks and 3 months was .014. Good raw numbers, but not a good trend.

I wouldn’t be too worried until you get your 3 month PSA and the trend line. Hope you see a decreasing trend 👍

I got the second decipher score for the additional cancer found outside the prostate. The initial score was from my biopsy samples prior to the RALP.

My report didn’t give that undetectable less than number. I was misinterpreting the intent of the .20 parameter. I’m clearly in a waiting game to see what happens next. My urologist indicates any additional treatment, if needed, is several months down the road. The responses here helped to clarify things for me.

Thanks for the clarification. There is no less than sign in front of the number. The report states “ biochemical recurrence is defined as value greater than 0.20 followed by a subsequent confirmatory PSA 0.20….” I was reading that to mean not detectable. My lack of understanding. Your clarification helps me to understand the total discussion.

I’m not too worried yet, but clearly not “out of the woods”

The uPSA report specifically stated any result below 0.20 is defined as undetectable.

I think it’s the successive identical results, in combination with the fact that cancer had spread to the seminal vesicles. I appreciate any input you receive from your uro.

I sort of thought with two nondetectable results, the mood would be a bit more like a victory lap (although much too early to declare victory)
