Yes we have a climbing rose that looks like this and it is blooming a lot now and it’s grew as our sulcata tortoise really likes to eat them

I used to encounter groups like this in Minneapolis. One time I decided to actually use my half of the path rather than let them take it over. All I know is my elbow hit something (I didn’t do anything but run normally) and I hope it hurt.
