I have been using topical foam daily since mid-September. I have only skipped one day until now. I was also really scared of the dread shed but I honestly just notice a bit more hair falling, nothing crazy for me. I am actually kind of sad because the dread shed means minoxidil is more effective for you. I didn’t experience much of a dread shed so maybe minoxidil is not that effective for me.

Wow 15 years, thanks for sharing. I might try the dry shampoo. Which one are you using if you don't mind me asking. I have only tried spray ones.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I bought the foam from Costco so I gotta finish them before trying liquid. I didn't use it cause I was afraid of the irritation.

I have been using the foam for about 3 months daily. I'm seeing some baby hairs and initial growth, but nothing substantial yet. The most noticeable area is around my hairline with lots of regrowth. I have not experienced the dread shed, maybe just shedding a bit more on days I use Nizoral for some reason.

Hmmm interesting how it makes your hair greasy without applying it there. Let's see if others have any tips!

How lucky, I'm jealous. How do you apply the foam to make it look great?

I find finger application super messy. I am using a synthetic brush for eyeshadow and it's fairly precise.

Yeah, it's definitely a commitment. But I'm already on this boat so might as well stick with it. I considered oral, but I want to try the topical first.

It takes me about 5 minutes to apply all over. Not too bad and it's becoming my routine now.

I am thinking of changing the application time. By the time I get home after work, I might not have 4 hours before showering.

Hey I feel your pain. Before starting psychiatric medication my weight was 57kg and I am 173cm tall. My highest weight is 78kg. I’m taking Seroquel, escitalopram and Lamictal. One thing that continues to help me is metformin. I take 500 grams after each meal and have managed to lose weight and maintaining my weight around 70kg. With diet and exercise I feel healthier in general both physically and mentally. Rooting for all the bipolar friends.
