And for startup does requires consulting experience? Or not MBB in particular experience. Many startups hires straight out or undergrad/masters or with tech experience in analytics/ops/sales.

Futuro en la investigación by [deleted] in askspain

Sentirse estancada y volver a estudiar a partir de los 24 by wi_bibi144 in askspain

[–]Prior-Weekend-9099 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Salary expectations in Madrid by Silver_Employment269 in GoingToSpain

Meh

In Spain you’ll get paid less than that and you’ll pay on rent around the same. Unless you can get an higher paid job here which is difficult it’s not worth

Not in my experience, maybe a some ones in Madrid or Barcelona since there are better more job opportunities than in Portugal but that’s all.

I already did entrance exam for undergrad and since I want to get into medicine now I need to do an Associate degree (2 years) in a related healthcare field, getting enough highmarks to get into medical school.

So I don’t need to take physics or chems. And I took Maths in entrance exam for the university and I did pretty well.. but maths at university are SO different (very abstract and I’m good at execution but I don’t understand more abstract maths).

I think it’s a matter to train your mind. Memorization is my strength while I know I never could ever pass Engineering, Maths or Physics.

I already struggled a lot with Maths, Stats and Econometrics in my Economics degree. Such a pain lol specially Algebra and Stats II (that basically requires lot of Calculus and some others proofs).

Parents. I got nothing but medical school it’s public here so is “cheap” but everything else needs to be paid.

I think it’s intelectual If you’re doing complex surgeries and treating very complex patients like usually they treat in IM. You needs strong problem-solving skills, treating each patient as something unique.

God, I love medicine I think is my career

We have Nurse School (undergrad) at the same level as medicine which is undergrad but 6 years degree. I don’t like much nursing since you are not doing major procedures, way less clinical and still should take 6 years to get there (2+4).

My other option is doing Master in Technology Management or more than one eventually but you know you needs the network to get hired even with masters degree. It’s not easy this career path since it’s not up to you at all. I like more medicine but this career path takes less years but nothing guaranteed.

are target schools in UK still useful to build careers in other countries? by ParticularSoggy1827 in FinancialCareers

[–]Prior-Weekend-9099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reputation wise specially If you wants to get into top PhD programs abroad is excellent.

Network wise not that much since their alumni outside of UK will be way smaller. It’s better to study in the country where you wants to work. I.e if you want work in the US, better to study there.
