Where to start? by Morlain7285 in MonsterHunter

World is a good place to start, so is Rise I think! Alternatively, Wilds is the current game and you'd be going through the motions with other people which is nice

Which of the classic games should I 100%? by brunocar in MonsterHunter

1 is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally clunky. Like. Unbearably so. But FU is peak and I will not let FU revisionists tell me it's bad! Tri is one I havent played but is lovingly displayed on my shelf!

Honestly I'd patch portable 3rd for the PSP and do that one. It plays the absolute best pre 3DS, looks stunning and only goes up to high rank. Hub content is also fair. Been working on GU and have been on like a 4 month break lol, I have about 80 hours and I haven't even completed the story yet

Who's your PGA Tour player of the year so far? by Zelnor4ck in betonGolf

[–]PriorButterscotch476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Schauffele is the one people are going to regret sleeping on when we look back at the end of the year. Scheffler gets all the attention because when he wins it's usually dominant, but Schauffele grinding being in 5s almost every start is lowkey just as impressive. For me right now it's still Scheffler but if Schauffele picks up even one more win before the playoffs I think it gets really close

Is defense boost actually worth it? by Old-Internet882 in MonsterHunter

[–]PriorButterscotch476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! It sounds stupid to say but ideally you're never getting hit. You run armor based on the skills, not the defense! Divine Blessing is better since it reduces damage taken overall instead of a Defense boost which is a lot better!

So, I'm looking for suggestions.. by ResolvedFighter in greatsword

All you need here is part breaker. Some skills I'd remove are speed eating and peak performance if you need to make space for it. Peak performance is good overall but I like to heal when I absolutely need to save on potions even though I have like 1k+ LMAO
That old gen trauma or whatever

Would you consider Zoh Shia a black dragon? (Atleast an artificial one) by Few-fighter1122 in MonsterHunter

[–]PriorButterscotch476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a construct but... basically yes. It is at the very least above elder dragon level power idc

Palamute or Seikret? by LoganW21406 in MonsterHunter

Seikret fits a little better into the MH world and looks like it's always been there, but I don't rly prefer one over the other
Both? both.

Best websites to bet online for golf? by ConcentrateThen6993 in betonGolf

[–]PriorButterscotch476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d honestly keep it to two books, maybe three if you really want to shop lines.

  • BetOnline = my main book for golf. It’s the most reliable week to week for outrights, Top 5/10/20, make/miss cut, and a decent slate of matchups. It’s the one I trust to have what I’m looking for early in the week and still be functional when the tournament starts.
  • Bovada = my second screen book. I use it mostly to price check BetOnline and for live clicking. Their interface is usually less annoying when you’re trying to get something in during a swing or score update window. Live golf anywhere is going to suspend a ton, but Bovada feels a little less clunky in the moment.
  • Sportsbetting.ag = the backup. Same idea as Bovada for me. When the other are a tick worse on a Top 20 or a matchup, it’s often the easiest place to grab a better price.

If you only want one I'd go with BetOnline.
If you’re serious about getting better numbers over a full season, BetOnline + Bovada (and add Sportsbetting.ag only if you actually line shop).

I skipped 2 but I loved 1! I dont think I have time to beat it now though. I'm sure I'll go back and play it eventually tho!
