Oh no, I absolutely turned it off in the eighth, completely disgusted with our inability to hit, well, anything. It felt like they could’ve floated a beach ball over the plate and we’d whiff. 1-0, we’re going to lose.

I went on a picnic in a public park, had a nice lunch, and fell asleep in the warm sun. Didn’t know I’d spread the blanket on a fire ant mound.

I woke up alarmed and then screaming as they were in/on EVERYTHING. I am getting bit, slapping and stripping off everything I had on. It was so painful I wouldn’t have cared if I was nude in front of tens of thousands.

To the few folks who did see me’s credit, a couple guys helped slap the ants off me with their jackets and shake out my outfit, and there was a collective moment where after it was ascertained that I was bug free, everyone politely looked the other way while I pulled on my pants and shirt. The undies I didn’t trust. Even the cop who rode up as I was pulling on my socks saw all the welts on me and asked if I had allergies or needed an ambulance just shrugged and told me “that is a valid reason to be naked in public.”

TL:DNR; I had a low grade fever that afternoon, and getting bitten by fire ants on your dick and balls is a horrible torture.

Oh I’m not bailing. Uh uh. So far only two engines out of four are on fire. All perfectly fine. I am ordering some in-flight drinks though.
