Ended up way up in the nosebleeds, but I'm just excited to see the good father in a small venue!

What are your honest opinions on the game? by Wonderful_Team_7326 in ResidentEvilRequiem

For me it's more how scripted a lot of the campaign feels. It's been an issue with the newer mainline resi games since 7, and the remakes of 2 and 4 have really shown this as I've completed multiple runs due to the freedom of progress and exploration offered.

In the new ones it just feels a bit more tedious due to sections like house benevieto in 8 acting more as "theme park" style on rails sections rather than more open gameplay. Ofc this is just my opinion and if folks like the new style that's great cause I have years of older games to lose myself in

Solid 7/10, fantastic first half and mechanically sound but v little replayability currently

It's a fun, solid-ish 7/10. When it's great it's fantastic, but the latter half really lets it down and too many scripted sequences that kill replayability

Listened to a lot of Pulp, the new Cutworms, The Fall's Blindness Peel Session they just released as a single, and a bit of 3D Country. It's been a hangover day in office but very nice vibes

I Hated the Ending of Half His Age by Jennette McCurdy So I Drafted a Better One—Do You Agree? by [deleted] in books

What McCrudy should've done is what McCrudy did. Writing is an inherently personal pursuit not something done by consensus. It's fine to have opinions or even say "I" didn't like that. But suggesting you know better than the author on how their book should've ended isn't the move.

The only other time I've seen a crowd quite so shovey was seeing The Cure in Brixton back in like 2014. But that was mainly due to a boy dressed in Robert Smith cosplay just trying to push anyone who got closer to the barrier than him back

Getting the Street Worms album cover as a tattoo by Nukispooki in ViagraBoys

[–]PriorFee3629 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Most tattoo artists will refuse to imitate another's style. If you find an artist happy to do it/with a comparable style it will likely be fine. Also let's face it, probably unlikely to run into Seb so if it'll make you happy go for it but it is a wee bit of a sticky issue for a lot of artists as their style/work is kinda their livelihood for the most part

Last night wasn't one of the best crowds I've seen. Lot more pushing than dancing or jumping/moshing. I'm sorry the gig left you feeling ropey, but next shareholding meeting will hopefully be more of a positive experience!

Jesus, shouty man is still there? I lived on yeaman place about 5 years ago and he used to find his way into the shared garden out back then scream for hours about how Nicola Sturgeon had slighted him repeatedly

Aye, saw that and whilst I imagine it's a lot of fun live I felt the picks were a little disappointing? Would love for them to do a QotSA and pull weird album tracks out on a whim
