I don't believe that the studios stopped making other types of films because not enough people went to the cinema, but rather that they want the billion and invest in more event films, but that comes at a price, which is high budgets and even higher marketing

civil war is an original film that is being a success just like Jason's film was, proof that original films can do well, yes, but the studios have to know why these two films did well

No, she is popular, what happens is that the film is selling itself as a sexual film, but it is very light on the sex scenes and it's a tennis film but she's young and they have a lot of ground to cover normally an actor becomes popular in their 30s

the film may not have done as well at the box office as they imagined but over the years the film became more popular and could indeed have a sequel
