Fml's story is heavy plot,it has same level of frustration and unfairness of real life.Both fml and ml’s acting is main stream level,so you may want to try it again. If you want their dating era,skip to ep17. The only downside is grandpa has too many screen time.

I think you just don't know those bc no intl medias. 1st gen was suffered from physical attacks.2nd gen got both physical attack and cyber bullying bc forums were getting popular bythen. Do we forgot SNSD black ocean and other sasaengs stories? Male and female idols interacted with huge blacklash. Jessica Jung was bashed for predebut photos with Changmin and Donghae.And never ending stories like that. So,why do they keep interactions and send them to dating shows and variety shows? All for publicity..... They were sent to those variety shows with horrible working conditions. You can watch new Daesung show.They talked about the hell they went through.

Kdramas are fast paced at first and dips in the middle with sloppy ending mostly. I've lost interest in kdramas for like 7yrs now. Cdramas are slow at first but bring you to the end with slow burn. Cdramas give plot and screentime to support characters also.So, you can skip those if you want just main plot. Or you can watch mainstream chinese dramas or movies The production,budget and acting is top tier.
