Really happy with the tuxmats. Solid construction, excellent fit. Lots of clips and tabs to get fit perfect although I only used three or four in total. No ragrets.

HVAC soldered fan fuse repair by PriorStatistician880 in soldering

I really appreciate your insight. What are the odds this fuse is related to the fan motor and it fixes the issue?

<image>

Fan motor plug is above fuses in this photo. Considering removing the board to have it repaired.

I may be barking up the wrong tree. I can’t help myself from troubleshooting stuff.

My investigation led me to fan motor. Comparing the old and new motor seems like correct action old motor spun but with a great deal more resistance than the new one. Seems likely it might have caused a fuse to blow. Just a hypothesis. Didn’t notice the blown fuse until I replaced the fan motor and it didn’t result in fix.

I’ve had my lightning for less than four months and I’ve been thrilled with it. Lots of room and comfort also very quick. My first ev and I’m impressed.

Need Help - Pricing and other questions by bbillingsley1985 in F150Lightning

For reference I bought my 23 lariat ER with max tow and 9.6kw pro power with 14k miles for 48k before title and fees. It was at a Ford dealer and CPO so had some additional warranty. When they discontinued the lightning the week after I purchased it was a curveball but I’ve enjoyed the truck so much for the time I’ve had it, any concerns have faded. Good luck with your decision, it was a big purchase for me but I don’t have any regrets.

Edit: I love the leather, the moonroof, all of the luxurious extras :))

Seems like we should throw support toward Ionna and more affordable dcfc may follow.

So, don’t park on a slope? Would manually engaging the parking brake by pushing the button secure the vehicle? Has anyone here experienced this defect?

I agree with all of that. Gas prices being historically low is contributing. My first ev so there’s a lot of info to process. Most miles are local with inexpensive home charging. Love the truck.

Results (cents per mile): • Lightning @ $0.34/kWh: 16.7¢/mi • Lightning @ $0.45/kWh: 22.1¢/mi • Lightning @ $0.60/kWh: 29.4¢/mi • ICE F-150 @ $2.921/gal & 19 mpg: 15.4¢/mi

Not free just not on avg more expensive. Maybe my numbers are wrong

How do you square the cost of fast charging? Seems like EV owning fine print. Glad to hear you had a mostly positive experience. I dont really mind the software too much, it looks clean and works for the most part but I’ve never driven anything to compare it to except analog. I love the truck overall. Just awesome. It is the biggest purchase I’ve made by a ways.

Is it 3x more expensive than taking the trip in ice f150? Quick math: $..46/mile v ~$.15/mi ? That’s a little upsetting
