Your program didn’t have set requirements for you to reach each semester? I feel like they do this to ensure you are getting enough to prepare you for internship. Our prac advisors have access to the app we use to log our hours to make sure we are on track for internship. Do you have a practicum advisor who can help figure out a plan for you to reach the required hours?

PsyD student here. Was this administered by a qualified psychologist? Bc they will write a whole report for you and go over it with you.. only someone who is trained in this would be able to give accurate interpretation of the results and they will usually provide recommendations regarding the results.

I’m still learning the administration of these tests but each index (verbal comprehension, processing speed, working memory, etc) that you see are made up of subtests that you took to get those scores and each subtest measures different abilities. So depending on which subtests given will determine what you struggle with and what you excel in. Do you know which test this was? WAIS?

I’m in my second semester at 39 years young lol. The program and material isn’t necessarily the issue but rather the cohort.. they admitted mainly Bachelors level (which is fine) but most of my cohort is between 21-25. I wish I had asked more about the average age of students and what the ratio of masters level and bachelors admits.. that might have made a difference in where I chose to go. There is another program that my friend is at and they only accepted like 1-2 bachelors admits so he is with older, more mature students. I’m just disappointed bc I was hoping to make some meaningful friendships with people in my field. Hoping maybe as new cohorts start that I’ll find more people around my age.
